Good for you being realistic about change. It does take time. People want that instant results, but slow and steady wins the race.

I’m so proud of the 2 of you! Keep it up, and listen to your body. It’s saying “give me more sunshine “

Cheering you both on. I feel sure you'll improve with time. I heard Barbara O'Neill once say that if you've had an issue for example 10 years, it may take 10 months to heal. If it's 10 months it might be 10 weeks to heal and so forth. Everything seems to take time, but you started and that's half the battle.

Congrats on taking the leap, for colitis i started to see benefits after a few days and I would say it took two months for my total transformation anf all my symptoms to disappear

Thank you for sharing your story. I have struggled with auto immune disorders since I was 13. I had graves disease (cured it with vitamin D), psoriasis and massive inflammation. I am about to be 40 in November and am determined not to be sick anymore. I am on day 6 of Carnivore and spent day 3 miserable, vomiting and with a migraine. I upped my electrolytes and good fat intake and things are good so far. I have tried everything else except medications but I think so far this is working better, my skin is not flaking as much and I am seeing improvements. One day at a time, we got this!

I'm a month in, and my MS symptoms are noticeably less already. Mine weren't severe to begin with compared to many others, but now I don't have to use the rail for balance while going down the stairs. Now I don't get that occasional brain fog like I did up until a few weeks ago. It's not as dramatic a difference as others have seen, but it's just as important to me!

Excited to hear more about your healing on carnivore ❤
  • One week in. You are not yet fat adapted. Your electrolytes will still be out of balance. Your hormones will not be regulated yet. You will still be suffering carbohydrates addiction withdrawals. You will still be oxalate dumping. Your gut biome will not be adapted yet. You will still be suffering from fatty liver. Your thyroid regulation will still be off. Gluconeogenesis will not be kicking in properly yet. Cortisol will still be all over the place. Inflammation will not be gone yet and you will still be shedding water. etc etc etc etc Ya, you're a ways off from done. Stick to it. It only gets better from here.

If you have not seen the "Cabana Chronicles" channel I suggest you give it a look. She has been carnivore for around a year now. She also suffers from MS. I would suggest skipping to her 6 month update for inspiration.

Be careful about jumping into the carnivore lifestyle too fast. Some of us with multiple autoimmune disorders can react too severely to the sudden change. Be aware that you may experience heavy “oxalate dumping”….Sally Norton speaks about excess oxalates in our system. Hope that helps. 😊❤🙏🏼
  • I top have several autoimmune diseases and do carnivore, what a difference! Thank you. 😊

Yes, keep on super being motivated. It does take a while maybe even some months but don’t get discouraged because it’s leaving to the big lighted end of the tunnel that your positivity going to come out of! Good luck cheers.
  • I think the common experience of people who do keto and carnivore is that some improvement comes early while other improvements take longer. Keep it up. You're doing great!

Hang in there! It’s been almost a year for me and I discover new healing every month that I was not expecting. Learning from others is very important.

Jordan Peterson an his Daughter were experiencing healing in 3, 4, 5 year on carnivore. We eat like shit for 40 years. 1 week 1 month or maybe not even 1 year gonna change it all. Give 6 months at least!! Good luck.
