  • George Benson and his style of music is actually considered the foundation for the musical genre “ smooth Jazz”.
  • If you are listening this...let me tell you something: You got a great taste of music fella! Cheers!
  • A lot of jazz people said George was a sellout to jazz but what he did was created a new genre. Smooth jazz

Back than recording studios didn't want George to sing, didn't think he could sing. They just wanted him to play the guitar. This is the song that proved them all wrong. George is a GENIUS.❤❤
  • I have been listening to this for almost 50 years. Breaks my heart at one moment and then lifts me up. This carried me through many relationships. Shows me that music like this is eternal.
  • A masterpiece, amazing how that man could take a song and make it his own.
  • I must have played this song a thousand times..back in the 70's...there will never ever be a time like this again....breathtaking and haunting!!!!
  • Underrated? No sir. One of the best known jazz guitarists on the planet.
  • I’m 25 & It’s blessing that my parents were born in the early 1950s. I grew up on some of the most beautiful music !
  • The pianist is Jorge Dalto from Argentina. Sadly he left us to play in heaven at the early age of 39. God bless him for the solo in this tune.
  • It is like drinking a fine wine or sipping a great cup of coffee. Mellow out. Thanks Leon for writing such a great song that George has reinterpreted.
  • I had the distinct honor and privilege of spending the whole Sunday afternoon with The Amazing George Benson at the Capitol Grill near John Wayne Airport Newport Beach. He shared his life story. What an awesome human being. I've been a fan since the early 70's and wore out the grooves on the LP's. If you came to my crib all you heard was George at high volume! There's been a lot of multi-talented artist's but Mr Benson is KING!!! He also bought me a Drink... George, I owe you one! Happy Holidays brother and stay safe. Steve Munoz KILLER COUNTRY BAND

  • Not too many people know this but what you're hearing here is the rehearsal take. George and the band playing live. George ended this track and told everyone "that's it, its done"
