It makes me feel SO MUCH BETTER to know that a legend like you goes through the same feelings when they paint! Thank you for making this Smoe!!
  • @sdjorritsma
When the canvas is not talking to me, that’s a terrible feeling. I felt your rant
  • @Grriipp
I sincerely think it is a great thing to show us who watches the struggles you endure during the making of these videos/projects and not only the happy and fun moments. It only shows that you are human as well :)
  • The feelings you have while painting are similar to what I feel a lot. We've talked a few times about my work and sadly I haven't worked on it because it's hard for me to overcome those feelings. After watching this video I feel more motivated to just overcome that mental block. Thank you for everything you do!

Share your sad moments, your scary moments, your hard times because it makes me "happy". It reminds me that my idols are also human, just like me. It reminds me that during my artistic block times that it will pass, because the people I look up to also struggles. Your video's truly help pull me out of hard time. Thanks for sharing your art and yourself with all of us

This video and the art and artist are brilliant!!! I get that feeling every time I paint, less when I draw or color with markers and only once in a while when I'm working with digital...but every time I paint I get that low...great time to put it away. Grab coffee, play with the kids, and then come back when I'm reactivated and have fresh eyes again. You're right about loving it and trusting that you can do it with all your heart. I loved this video, the process, the technique, the problem solving skills, the artwork, the artistry in making the video too...this was one of my favorite videos on one of my favorite channels.
  • This video just reach my number one favourite painting videos ever!! The artist, the artwork, the message, all the content it's just amazing, it's a great honor for me just see you working on it, and be confident of your emotions, you are an amazing artist and a beautiful human being!! My favourite graffiti artist ever!! Please continue share your videos with us, just keep doing this great stuff, best regards from Portugal 🇵🇹

Liebe Smoe, I really liked to see the raw side of the emotions that you expressed during this project. People with artistic skills are very sensitive. True art comes from the heart. And the mind isn't always nice to the heart. You know what I mean? But you have to push through, and you did! Keep doing what you are doing, I love your artwork. Greetz from the Netherlands ;-)

Maaaaaaan! Details, story, narration, sound design – all on point! And that the canvas is a burner goes without saying. I like the Smoe that isn't afraid to show us the lows you go thru as an artist. Pushing through those times is definitely something I need to get better at myself. I have more unfinished canvases than finished ones in my studio. That being said, I'll finish one tomorrow! Well done bro! 💪

Makes me so happy every time I watch a new video, but the creative process is emotional, it’s the human process
  • @ergo7654
SMOE - Du übertriffst Dich jedesmal selbst! Man kann nur staunen und geniessen - vielen Dank dafür! Wie H.P. Dürr schon sagte: "Die Kunst ist das, was der Wirklichkeit am nahesten kommt".
  • @SmallAndSoft
All future artists and writers PLEASE TAKE NOTES! This man is yet to deserve the cred and rep he truly deserves. Its been years iv been following the homie ❤️😋 he is always the perfect example of a true writer who loves his craft
  • @jamiefraser101
Art is so personal! You explore your mind so much for ideas and hope people enjoy your ideas and you are terrified that your not a real artist and people won’t like your work! Let alone getting so far on a piece and making mistakes is so scary! There’s all the emotions! I chase the highs because there so awesome when you get them
  • @rubenpaH2o
you getting grumpy my friend! its life, but i think that, what you feel is the hunger for perfection and ur still growing. Respect when the canvas goes silent, but dont give up on it.
  • You articulated the process, perfectly. I go through the same emotions with my works. I also hit slumps in my creations and get plagued with doubts. Catch being, I tattoo. You cant really talk out what you go through with a client in the chair. I got to 'act' through the tough times and keep pushing. I also am a musician, and again, every show goes like this painting went for you. But the rewards of getting it done is an amazing feeling.
  • @slewp
30 mins of JOY Smoe this was epic!
  • @northernmuralco
Been through the hardest times of our lives faced with our version of meditation and art , life is hard even when its good , really felt this , thank you smoe
  • @salesone8615
I feel you bro, i feel you… it takes alot of energy. The more you chip away at it the better it gets. Theres been so many projects i love it when it starts. Then once its finished i cant wait to get it out of my face and out of the studio to the owner… everyone goes through this rollercoaster. To us we see all the mistakes but the viewer doesnt see any of it.. came out awesome bro. Keep pushing
  • @Absurdityfiles
I often get this low at some point. So much that I have spent time understanding it until I came across a video about neuroscience that was actually explaining the science behind ‘’lows’’ and why celebrating something big, can often follow with that low. The simplest explanation is in the chemical, when you get that high of happiness you got about what you have accomplished, you get a release of dopamine, and after that release of dopamine, is often followed by a ‘’low’’ and I think like you said, these are necessary, probably also your brain saying, you need to rest. Chemical rebalance. Enjoy your video and happy to see you didn’t edited that low. So many of us go through it. Great job man!
