What a Project!
It is so insane to see how much the quality of my pieces increased over the last years. Back then, when I got the permission to paint underneath this bridge, I was really broke as hell, trying to make enough money for my family, and I was putting all my energy into commissioned artworks… there was not that much power left over for the paintings on the weekend. Of course the pieces i painted underneath the bridge are not „thaaat detailed“ when you can hardly afford the time to paint… But it was a great decision to go the youtube way, otherwise I would probably still be in a hurry all the time… Painting this super detailed piece for 4 days + some extra days for the planning, + 2 extra days for the editing, communication with CANVY, and so on… it is such a luxury to be able to afford it nowadys. And it makes me so happy. Yes, I paint what I want now, and it took me 20 long years to be there… And it makes me proud on the one side, but also I am not „done“ or something… So i will try slowly, but steady, to improve the editing, improve the art, make everything better, so that you, my Friends and Followers can really enjoy the new videos. Being an Artist is so much more than just painting… But I really enjoy all the stuff all around, the team with Thöser, who supports me with the filming, the struggle with creating new prints and selling them together with my wife… It is a lot, a lot of experiences, and a lot of fun - so thanks a lot to everyone who read this, who supports my videos and who has a general interest in my art.

Great job Smoe!! Just an idea for content. Doing a “how to” tutorial on spray-painting on a wall with a random person or a subscriber. Then help them do a piece on a wall and get their thoughts on it. Basically do it together. I don’t think alot of people fully understand what kind of skills you need to do a piece using spray-cans. Also how much work it takes. Keep up the great job!

I'd like to see the whole underside of the bridge get painted! That'd be incredible and a good challenge paiting sideways/ on your back if you rigged something up.

I love the entire wall, but I keep going back to the “Nothing”. Free-handing tiny, crispy, well-formed letters with spray paint. No masks or stencils. Amazing (…followed by nightmare flashbacks of typography classes back in college).
