After thinking about it, I have decided not to go through with The Pond Club. I want all my content to remain free and accessible for anybody to watch. For anyone who still wants to support my channel, there are other ways including this brand new official The Fish Whisperer T-Shirt. the-fish-whisperer-2.creator-spring.com/listing/th…

For the ducks, give them some way to shelter on the ponds. Get some cattails growing, or even some water loving trees and shrubs like willow that you can plant on the shoreline to give them cover.

I am so happy that the baby turtles will be able to enjoy the new ponds!

Skittles is way bigger now. I remember when he was tiny.

Use nature’s natural enemies to hawks which is crows!!! Hawks dislike crows very much! Crows will protect wild birds, and little animals. Get a flock of crows by feeding them peanuts and sunflower seeds unsalted. I’ve lived with crows and hawks my whole life and have witnessed many times the crows saving robins and blue jays from the hawks. Falcons are smaller and crows dislike them as well! Good luck with this avenue. I’ve yet to make friends with a crow in my area because they are very shy but they are around the area always! :)

It’s very heartwarming to see the ducks fly back every now and then. It’s their choice whether to go far away or not yet they choose to go back. I really hope that one duck who hasn’t come back have found a happy life. I’m so proud of how far this pond has gone. Keep up the great stuff man, it’s also really humble of you about the Pond Club situation.

Put a floating dock so that you can hand feed them and it would provide shade.

Skittle, M&M and Reeses graduated to the Big Boy Pond 🎓👏🥳

You really need to get some logs or small anchored islands for the turtles to get out and bask on. Other than that I love your videos and can't wait to see how big the bass and gar get

They have grown so much since I last saw them!

Low cover near the bank like a bush or two or even a rough three sided little shelter could help the ducks have somewhere safe from aerial attacks or even just the sun on a hot day. Sometimes attracting/ encouraging the presence of crows and jays to the area also can help- they hate hawks and will alert and chase them away. Other than that it's just the ducks' wits vs. the hawk's speed. Thankfully they seem like a sharp crew

our pond has a couple owl "scarecrows" and something called bird b gone reflectors we don't have near the hawk problem we had.....not 100% protection but def better

More surface plants and shore scrub would break up the hawk's vision and help the ducks hide better.
-
Supposedly Owl decoys will keep hawks away. Worth a shot!
-
To guard against aerial predators, get a couple of domestic geese to live on the ponds. They are too big for hawks to take, are fiercely territorial, and are a great alarm to assist other birds that share their territory.

I remember the days you got each baby turtle. Time flies!

These videos are easily the most calming part of my day.

Beautiful ponds. Thank you for the updates. 👍💯💯🐟🐢🦆💞💞💞

The way the ducks flew in was so majestic

Put a sign says " No hawks allowed" facing up, hopefully hawks can read it
