I had saved my first horse, Puddles, from his Bokoblin jockey. We both saw Kakariko Village, Hateno Village, and so many other locations together. He was my first and only horse. I didn’t take him to Hyrule Castle in fear that he would get hurt. Imagine my surprise when I’m teleported out to face Ganon, one last time, and there’s Puddles, faithfully waiting. Absolute Legend.

When the main theme IS the final boss theme, you know the pot is lit

"Courage need not be remembered. For it is never forgotten." This line gives me chills whenever I hear it. True wisdom

This theme contains the motifs from: - Breath of the Wild Main Theme - Riding Theme - Ganon Theme - Lynel Battle Theme All in one. Am I missing any?

Zelda: “He’s given up reincarnation to reach his most chaotic form!” Ganondorf in BOTW2: “Well Yes, but actually, no-“

This is actually really genius. I don't know if it was intentional, but for the first minute or so (and beyond for some parts), it's as if two songs are battling for the spotlight; the normal battle theme remixed with the castle theme, and the main theme. It's like the battle theme is Ganon and the Main theme is Link.

Who else rode Zelda‘s white horse (descendant) in this battle?

The ending gives me serious chills every time. The melody repeats itself as the eye opens on the beast of ganon: his very core. You then move Link with your controller for the last time, jumping from your horse and into the air. Link draws an arrow in the bow of light with the champions unseen, but present. That moment turns into the moment of truth. Every hour you put into the game led up to that moment. You then release the ZR button, and you defeat Ganon at last. Link may be just a nintendo character, but the story and journey you went through together barely seems fiction.

I swear to god this song makes me feel Link's emotions and hear his thoughts as he goes through all of this. Imagine hearing about a 'you' from 100 years ago, wondering if you are the same as him, if you are better or worse, if you're living up to everyone's expectations of him. Before sleeping by a fire, you wonder about it every night. Can you do this? Can you save her? Can you really defeat this brewing evil that has been waiting for this moment for 100 years? Everything Link has had to put up with is unleashed here. He's had to go through having this responsibility from a past him thrown onto his shoulders, knowing his past friends are dead, having to see their faces again, though they're transparent, battling the monsters that killed them, knowing they're only an ounce of the final enemy's strength and anger. To finally end the monster that took everything takes away the stress that was slowly breaking Link. This song truly is one of the best in gaming history and should be remembered.
