Demon King Ganondorf Battle [All Phases Seamless Theme] — The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The divine beasts didn't get rid of half of Calamity Ganon's health. They just moved it somewhere else.

I will never forget the terror of watching as his health bar becomes off-centered

“You witness a king mid-suavamente” is a crazy line for a game like this

We went from watching Calamity Ganon's health bar get cut in half like a bitch to watching Ganondorf's health bar extend to twice the normal length. Nintendo and Monolith knew not to slouch with Ganondorf.

"I will be taking far more than your arm this time" along with him flurry rushing suprised me so much in this fight

Love how Ganondorf looks all serious in the first phase, almost as if he's bored. In the second phase, he just won't wipe that menacing grin off his face... he's finally recognized you as something worth using his full might against, and he's enjoying it.

“Ok time for the second phase. Yep all is going as it should his healthbar is refilling. Wait. What. Why is it still going. WHY IS IT STILL GOING. OH NO ITS STILL GOING”

The idea that Calamity Ganon was only a FRACTION of this guy’s power is terrifying. This feels like the most threatening Ganondorf we’ve ever had.

The part of the battle where he gets rid of his demon clones and you see all of the sages knocked down on the floor and it’s only you and him was SO intense

I just want to experience this boss fight for the first time again

I love how final phase is like a good remix of calamity Ganons theme from botw

The fact that they brought back the ocarina battle theme just for this, and he gets a comically large health bar all for a huge phase 2 really tickled me.

"You witness a kings revival" ✒️🔥 They knew what they were cooking with that.

You know you have a worthy opponent because: His health wents off limits, He can flurry rush you, He can destroy your hylian shield, He can destroy hearts of your health (not just shatter them)

"STOP FLURRY RUSHING MY FLURRY RUSHES!!", is definitely not something I expected to yell when fighting this boss. So fun and challenging the way the game makes you time attacks and dodge at the right time.

Do not look away. You witness a king's insanely charming swagger. And the birth of an addictive boss fight.

I think I know where the Hearty Durians went. Ganondorf converted them all into his comically long health bar.

I love the return of the OoT ganondorf battle motif!!! this whole movement is amazing

I do love how the entire orchestra and choir are devoted to this momentous battle to decide the fate of Hyrule... And then you've got that one guy in the back just vibing as he plays jazz anvil. Outstanding combination work. Thanks for bringing it all together.

Ganondorf's character has two distinct sides, his disciplined warrior and king side, and his monstrous side. Imo the fight and music both show this perfectly, starting understated and conventional but still impressive. When Ganondorf starts to realize he can't win this fight, he becomes more and more beastly, and the music reflects to the more chaotic Calamity Ganon music to match. This guy no longer just wants to best you in one on one combat, he wants you annihilated. I hope he isn't gone forever, because a third game with him and Link dueling for the last time would feel great with this game building their relationship so well in the final act.
