I am become ChatGPT, destroyer of commercial art careers.

Traditionally Hollywood had distain for writers. Now writers who have some technical skills and acumen will be able to cut out the entire film industry and take their visions directly to the public. Talk about the ultimate revenge!
  • I'm just starting college, all career paths I've explored and considered are art - film. Animation. I'm simply screwed. My dreams since I was a kid are effectively suddenly no longer existent in reality, so what the heck am I supposed to do now

So by 2030, I think there will be 2 film industries: the AI users and the Analog ones. The AI users will be the Studios (natch) and reeeeeeeeally broke-ass indie filmmakers who can't even afford actors. The Analog ones will be filmmakers who use real people on real locations (or close to that). We'll have separate terms to describe each one (the way we have "snail mail" or "meatspace" or "dead tree" to describe things from digital counterparts) and people will go into them based on the cost-goal-integrity ratio. Also, people will probably try to get a hold and a lock on earlier versions of this before more guardrails go up. Guaranteed that Sora v.6 won't let you make AI porn with Jenna Ortega and Riley Keough, but v. 1 or v.2.1 might. And then those earlier versions will be extremely valuable and people will learn coding just to figure out how to copy that and distribute it to willing buyers for greytrade currencies. But there is no way in fuck this doesn't eliminate at least 80% of all creative media jobs.

Oh they said the same about records and live music PA's, and EDM, and AI music.. Now the power of sight and perception has changed. Creativity is freedom, and joy is the purpose, and this has led to an AI inevitable expansion, which are the results of our work. It's the universal life-force that flows in our veins, it's the air we live and breathe.. In the hands of artists these new tools will create new meta art and societies that are beyond our most futuristic hopes and dreams. This moment now is completely beyond what our previous imaginations could even conceive....

The quality is so good I didn't noticed the transition between the fake video and the real video of you at 0:14
  • @RJMCTV
Interesting video - thanks. (by the way, we DO know what woolly mammoths looked like. We've found specimens preserved frozen in permafrost, complete with fur. We've found human art depicting them. So just saying) :)
  • @RickAltizerMusic
So excited for the b-roll possibilities. Thanks for a great video!

Pay attention to the glasses at 2:42 , crazy how it’s able to remember to have the car on the glasses lens when the lady turns her head, this going to be lit 🔥
  • @hasanakon1973
Excellent!❤ when it will be available for purchase?
  • @hasanakon1973
Can’t wait to have one for me and my community ❤
  • @Ranger7Studios
I can see this being used as a CG stunt double for an indie film. I just wonder if it will be available to the general public and how soon, if at all.
  • @audvr
How’d you get this great vintage look. Are you using vintage lenses?
  • @trackah123
Basically in the future the "Scriptwriter" will also be the producer, cameraman etc. just that their script will look more like prompts in terms of storytelling.
  • @davedsilva
Great enthusiasm and personality. New subscriber.
  • @philipbloom
Dave, you’ve gone back to your real name!
  • @stickplayer2
The woman walking on Tokyo street - prompt said "animated" signage - and in Tokyo, some signs are animated, but all signage is static in the clip.
  • Hey, this is your cousin :) I really need this to be regulated. I think it’s really important that legislation is made to protect artists, film makers, and PROTECT PRIVACY OF PEOPLE!! Your mention of 🌽 is absolutely an issue; there was a huge debacle on Twitch where a man generated AI 🌽 of his friends!!!! That’s so screwed up!! As an artist, it’s really upsetting that many ai programs are being trained on artists without compensating any of them. I don’t like the fear mongering going around because it just bums me out, but I also want to be aware of the dangers here. I’m glad they’re willing to force users to tag their content as AI.
