Caitlin needs a break. She’s not a robot, she’s a 22 year old woman just out of college who has hasn’t had a break from basketball since fall of last year. You can tell she exhausted. Doing the Olympic circus right now would not be good for her regular season performance. She also turned down the 3 point competition, she needs a break. Let someone else go to the Olympics if Diana is hurt.

I read that the network with the Olympic coverage contract is livid with the WNBA and the USA team not having CC on it. The lost revenue for them is in the billions. This might be the straw that finally breaks the WNBA's back and makes them put CC on the team. Also, anyone who has been on four Olympic teams might consider letting someone new experience the thrill and honor that she had as a rookie. This is very similar to the old QB in football who will not retire and let a younger man take over.

Why would CC WANT to play for and with these classless HATERS. She's already better than most. She would just show them up and make them feel bad. Also might give the olympics some viewers. Better to rest up for the second half of the season and take the Fever to the playoffs. Must be terrible to have to put up with so much hate when all you want to do is play and win. Let all the rest make the noise, they can't PLAY anymore anyway.

I'd rather her take a break anyway and then the next Olympics there'll be more inclined to welcome her and she won't have to be stressed out or anything she shouldn't go through any more abuse than she already has
