I am shocked how many wrong things Scholes said. I mean not opinion, just wrong facts, about de Ligt's play time and Dier playing in front of him(the Bayern fans were crying about that stupidity from Tuchel), Scholes isn't even informed correctly about why De Ligt left Juventus, and it's not even ten hag who shortlisted De lIgt, it's Christopher Vivell and Ashworth, about Hojlund, Ivan Tony is full of hot air, and almost at the end of that prime, if we buy him now, he'll ask for big wage and will get too settled and relaxed, unlike a young player who'd want to prove his worth, him under estimating the importance of an actual office existing in the club for the first time since the world moved ahead with backroom staff years ago. Scholes is saying Ten Hag should have been more pragmatic. Mourinho did do that and finished 2nd, but Scholes laid into him for not sticking to United's "values". Yeh I disagree with Paul aswell, I think de ligt would have a bigger impact at United than Varane,, his leadership and physicality as well as obviously he's a high line defender which allows us to be more compact
