  • The Yotes’ first game in the desert was a 5-2 victory. The Yotes’ final game in the desert was a 5-2 victory.
  • the announcer saying “you don’t need me talking over this i’m just gonna let it go” is so respectful and shows that this team did have true fans. sucks to see them go
  • The howling of the Coyote in the stadium made me have watery eyes. It is really sad we won't maybe ever see this epic logo and team again. When a era closes it is painful. Farewell...

I feel sympathy for the people who cared and supported this team and goodbyes are never easy.

For some reason the howling sound they play in the arena made it even more emotional for me... Because even though they've always played it, this time the Coyote sounded like it was howling out of sorrow or loneliness :( ... Like it was lost and alone in the desert...

Kings fan here, our teams had some good battles, especially in 2012. Sucks to see them go.
  • Sharks fan here. Always liked the Desert Dogs. Beautiful jerseys and a beautiful organization. I cried watching this. Definitely pulled at my heart strings. Coyotes forever!
  • @NEZLeader
Lots of original jets fans still followed the team after they left. I'm sure a few cheers & standing ovations happening from them

From a Caps fan who once attended a 'Save the Caps' campaign...my heart felt sympathies to Coyotes fans. May the Yotes howl again.
  • As a lifetime Winnipeg Jets fan, I feel your pain. You were originally our franchise and when the team left it was heart breaking. I had hoped that the Coyotes would succeed.
  • From a rangers fan, Thank you to the Coyotes I’m gonna miss y’all. RIP Arizona Coyotes 1996 - 2024
  • Born and raised in Arizona.. never had I cried so hard for any of the teams. I was born into this coyotes franchise and followed them my whole life.. this is absolutely rough. I feel like they ripped them away from me

I'm an oilers fan. I cried watching this. Arizona, you guys have always had a great hockey club and awesome fans. Nothing can hit a hockey person in the feels more than watching a tribute like this to an amazing team leaving the ice. Thank you for the years of entertainment.
  • Though I’m not a Coyotes fan, this makes me so sad. I don’t even care that we lost to them twice in this building. Seeing all the fans crying and so sad is really emotional. Long live the Coyotes!
  • If any team had to deny the Oilers their 50th win of the year tonight I’m happy it was your team. My heart breaks for Arizona and its fans. I hope to see Arizona back in the NHL one day soon. Arizona is as passionate a fan base as I’ve ever seen.
  • @eIoc
    Oh its official official now
  • @bclov
I feel for the fans. I was a Minnesota North Star fan years ago and went through this. Don't give up. You may have another team in the future.

As a Kings fan, I always saw the Arizona Coyotes as worthy adversaries. The Kings faced them a couple of times during the playoffs and they were indeed a tough team and the fans were truly united everytime we had to face them at thier place in the playoffs. I'm happy to see they were able to win their last game and give the fans something special. RIP Arizona Coyotes
