Star Citizen 3.17.2 Anvil Terrapin Ship Guide

Its an absolutely beautiful ship. SC should give it some love.

Love the look of the ship and the fact it has so many thrusters

the space turtle is great, saving up to buy my son one for his starter upgrade . safe, fun and oddly zippy for such a small ship.

1.) Terrapin dropship - good for a squad/fireteam of 4-6 players. Terrapin has pretty thick armor for a ship of its size. Lose the scanner, fit a bigger/secondary shield or door gun. 2.) Terrapin transport - similar to dropship variant, lose the scanner, have room for passengers/cargo. Unlike Argo transport, Terrapin has a quantum drive, and jump drive. 3.) Terrapin ambulance - we already have the Cutlass Red, but that is for 2 patients and 3 crew. Terrapin ambo for 1 patient and 2 crew. Keep the scanner for Search and Rescue. 4.) Terrapin science - use the scanner for all sorts of scientific study, exploration, jump point mapping, maybe even transmission intercept and STEALTH data running.

I dig this ship. The design is so interesting. The thought of hopping into an exploring ship and just heading out into uncharted space has always been an exciting thought to me. Hopefully we'll have the chance to do that soon. Thanks for the video, Dark!

Love the terrapin and would like to see some more use cases built into it. If they moved the scanner seat from the sender of the ship and add some addition stations for diverse deployment much like real world AWACS.

the terrapin is my favorite ship, it was the first upgrade ship i chose, at the time many patches ago it was the only ship you could leave your weapons and gear in and IT WOULD STILL BE THERE when you logged back in, but that was then, not sure if that's still the case, its a cool ship, back then you could also put a gun in the scanner, i think they changed that thou, cool, thanks for the vid,- peace

I am digging this ship and would love to get one, but as a mostly solo player, sadly I don’t have much use for it at the moment. Seems it would make a great mining scout. Great review. Thank you for what you do.

I am hoping the role of exploration will expand a little when Pyro comes out. The Terrapin has a cult following that is huge. I am thinking of building up to purchase one and try it out. Thanks for the video!

I saw this... Went to Area 18 dropped some coins and went to take it for a test flight.... I called it into the hanger... and when I entered the ship, the ship blew up and killed me. I love the SC experience. The second attempt at flight actually got me off planet. TY for the suggestion!!! :)

Something charming about this ship

Neat little ship, will be interesting to see the utility of such scout ships when this game feature gets fleshed out. Especially curious to see how it will synergize with other ships like the Odyssey which should be able to fit this in its hanger.
