In this video, we discuss my long-term ownership of a Lexus LC500 and detail the problems and the joys of the car. New SUVs and Cars are expensive, luxury products are more disposable so at nearly $100,000 we take it seriously. I talk about the things I love and hate and showcase technology and engineering. Other cars to consider, BMW M5, Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type, Audi S7, and Corvette C8.

I’ve had my 2018 LC since it was new. I absolutely love this car. It still makes me smile even just looking at it, and giggle when I let it rip. I’ve had probably 30 cars in my life and nothing has ever come close to the feeling that I get with this car. The LC is not a spec sheet car. It’s not a Swiss Army knife of utility and function. It’s a FEELING car. And the way it makes me feel is priceless.
  • Savagegeese is my favorite channel. The Lexus LC 500 is my dream car. Savagegeese owns a LC 500. Something finally makes sense in this crazy world!

A lot of useful information for those of us that got agitated and recruited by Mark and his movie magic into LC500 dreamers...
  • @johneldepresso
Please never stop making videos about the LC Can’t consume enough LC content

When revving this thing out, the closed captioning shows "[Music]"...very true. Thanks for all of the amazing content!

Totally agree with Lexus’s message about their vehicles, “emotional experience that can’t be measured.”

You're the best car reviewer on Youtube, which is really saying something. There's a bunch of car review channels and many of them are quite good, but none of them match your cinematography or technical depth. I've been subscribing to your channel since you did this part time. It's been a pleasure to watch your popularity grow. I "thumbs up" every one of your videos because despite your channel's growth, it deserves to be even bigger.

Every time I look at this car, I feel like I'm looking at some dream of how 50s automobiles would look with modern technology. For me this is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen.

I've got an LC500 convertible on order, and have been waiting for this video for a while. Thank you for doing it!

Bought a "used" 2020 in October of 2020. Was shopping for 2018, coming from a Porsche 718, but ended finding the 2020 for almost the same price as a 2018. Here in Canada, you don't have option choices.... you take either base or fully loaded. Most on the market are fully loaded. I have to say that I appreciate the dual personality... great cruiser when you need it to be, good toy when you want to monkey around a bit. Not as fun as my 718 (manual), but enough to satisfy. Don't care much about the lack of space or storage... I knew what I was getting in when bought. My only complaint so far is the sport seating. And my fault for being a large-ass boy. Cushion bolster too narrow and makes it uncomfortable for large ass boys for long rides. But again, this was known to start with. Still hoping to loose weight for the next season !!!

I love that savage geese buys the cars that he knows are well-made, I remember seeing his reviews on this car and how he praised it
  • @reyeslexus
Wow Goose, I remember hounding you everyday for the LC500 review - now you're a connoisseur. I'm really looking into getting one of these after I'm done with my lease.

I'm 22 and this has probably got to be one of the only modern dream cars for me. Great video.

I Own one of these i got mine in the middle of Covid Lock-Down in NYC i paid 82,500 for a inspiration series, 90k out the door Worth every single penny It feels like a 160k car and like you said Mark the noise it emits under throttle, Just sheer magnificence i brought it after hearing you rant about it countless times i must have seen your previous LC500 videos about 25 times a piece but the Vehicle ALWAYS put a smile on my face its always an event when you pilot it and u get a ton of 👍🏼 everywhere you go if it wasn’t for you Mark i would had gotten the RS5 Sportback … Forever thankful i came across your channel

It’s nice to see Mark has had so much business success with his business. This Lexus is a testament to his stamina and girth.

From the Mazda 3 vid to the LFA.. you capture the true emotions and connection people can have to their vehicle and lifting up the hood of the manufacturers expression as well and tying that all together is what makes your content special. It’s what being a car owner/enthusiast is about!

I love this car. Had been saving for a 996 or 997 Turbo when the pandemic drove prices through the roof. Discovered the LC 500 and can't get enough of it. Literally saw one last night coming back from dinner with my wife and we stopped to look at it. "OH my! That's gorgeous! You should lease one" direct quotes from my wife. I love the fact that you've posted this video the very next morning. Now to figure out what the local ADs will do for me
  • @domteewhy52
“It has enough flaws, enough theater, and enough comfort to Make sense to an enthusiast” me. Phenomenal video. I wish you could spend solid amounts of time with all the cars but I know it’s not reasonable. Wishful thinking . Continue your teams hard work.
  • A great, unbiased review. Thank you. I looked at this car but I ended up keeping my E coupe. I am grateful to Akio Toyoda for inspiring and green-lighting cars that aren't SUVs.
