Lexus: engine sound YouTube subtitles: [Applause] Me: yes.

The content you guys continue to put out is unparalleled on this platform and I say that with utmost certainty. I absolutely love it.

This is gonna be one of those cars that the majority didn’t appreciate during its time but everyone will WANT in 15-20 years. It will be a future classic for sure.
  • Lexus is the only company I trust to make a car like this truly reliable and durable. The Germans certainly can't do it. That dependability is the most fundamental of luxuries, and nobody does it better than Toyota / Lexus. By combining that with incredible beauty and charisma, Lexus has made the LC500 something I actually lust after. I Want This Car.
  • Heart: "Wow, this is a perfect GT car" Brain: "The infotainm—" Heart: "It's perfect, I want one!" Brain: "The touchpad is sh—" Heart: "IT'S PERFECT"

Underrated doesn't even cover how slept on this beauty is!

I pulled up in my LC 500 at our local Porsche dealership. A small crowd of employees came to look at the car, because it is quite rare and unusual. There was a McLaren 720 there as well, and they all passed it to check out the Lexus 😂

I absolutely love the LC500. Its not trying to beat the M5 or similar cars. Just a fun, not overpowered, amazing and great sounding V8 luxury car. Has a lot of personality to it. Would love to buy one if It was available here
  • In other words, this car is the definition of REAL WORLD perfection. Spectacular looks, craftsmanship, build quality, reliability, comfort, performance, spine tingling noise, character. This is the result of putting all this before the fastest Nurburgring lap time. No wonder this is my favourite car!
  • Loved the camera play, you guys are the closest to that "top gear" quality.
  • The front and rear 3/4 views are awesome. The car has endless shape and definition. It's like a Japanese Aston Martin. And they're right, the LC is a luxury gt, not a one dimensional or single purpose sports car. This is the kind of car you could be perfectly happy just cruising around in it. I also like this shade of green, and how the light shade interior contrasts with it, but for practical purposes, I would go with a darker shade inside to avoid the human stain that would show up over time.

The Eames Chair comparison is spot on. It feels both retro and modern which translates to being timeless. The interior of the car is almost architectural, looks, and feels bespoke in nature, unlike all competition, especially at this price point.

I wasn’t sold on the design until I saw it in person. Holy shit is it ever gorgeous in person. Pictures and videos do not do it justice.
  • @wompa70
“They hold their value.” .... “Upsettingly so.” Fantastic!!
  • @petermartin9494
The main point of this car is that it's quality is far superior to the German disposable cars. If you want a car that will keep a good proportion of it's value and be reliable, then this is the car for you.

I've worked for a Lexus dealership for over 5 years and this vehicle is one amazing ride! You put this into Sport Plus mode and it sounds amazing and handles like no other. This has to be one of the best Grand Touring coupes in its class and for under $130,000.00 CDN.
  • @develupa
This is a better ad than anything Lexus could ever produce.
  • @ASV9399
This may sound cliche... But, this is my dream car.
  • @SNKYLAZYHOAR
Had the pleasure of taking this around a local track for an event my work hosted a couple of years back. Thomas is spot on, this is the best GT car of this age and I’d take it over any competitor. Even though it’s not as good, it’s somehow much better.
