I started reading Robert's books when I was about 18 years old. Now I'm 31 and I have read hundreds of books but some of the best and most useful have been his. Nobody has given me the same level of insight into how people really behave.
  • I think discipline can fix all. Can fix your life and your mind. Gives you mental security that can decrease considerably your anxiety and your concerns, because you become competent. It is also the way to achieve your dreams, in other words, discipline is the key. Blessings to all!
  • Thank you, Robert, for entering my life. My ability to perceive the world has become much easier.

Self-discipline is a set of skills that makes me want to wake up and get up to work for what I want ❤

Discipline equals freedom. Freedom is a reward!
  • Self-discipline is the art of doing something passionately, specifically when you don’t want to do it.

I have never been more resilient because of access to your wisdom. My parents, teachers, colleagues and nobody showed me reality and how to face it with patience, knowledge, ethic and calmness. My spiritual teachers are great but their way of imparting wisdoms does not click with me as naturally as yours. Thank you for being here.

These are incredible. You are so comforting in the way you present and speak. Your books have changed my life. You'll never know me, but I am forever thankful.
  • I love this! For a long time, I viewed the internet as a source of entertainment or distraction. Most people do their banking and pay bills with it. They maintain their lives with various applications. But mostly? Entertainment. Curiosities. Of late, I've been very careful to monitor what I ingest mentally and emotionally on here. I'm getting more picky about who I will give my time to and what I will allow into my head. Just like in real life, I want to spend time with people who are going the same direction I am. And you are one of those people. I have read a couple of your books and will read more. Mostly because, you keep me on track. You remind me where we're going. What it takes to get there. And don't give up, that there are people running alongside me. They just happen to be on a screen and not here. But they're real. Thank you Robert. Thanks for being one of my buddies. God bless.
  • Thank you Robert. Your works continue to inspire me to be better each day. God bless you.
  • Key Points: 🔑: 💡 Discipline must have an element of fun - consistency in your work must be rewarded. 🧠 The human brain works on the principle of pleasure and pain - we're drawn to what's pleasurable and away from what's painful. 😫 If discipline and consistency are only associated with pain and boredom, then it will be difficult to maintain these habits in the long term. 🎁 The key is to find direct and pleasurable rewards in disciplined efforts. 👶 As a child, you may have learned a sport, a musical instrument or a game like chess. It may have been boring at first, but as you persevered, you eventually experienced the pleasure of mastery and progress. 📚 For example, if you write every day to write a book, it may be boring at first, but imagine the sense of accomplishment after several months. 🎣 You can become addicted to these rewards, to the point where immediate pleasures no longer have the same effect on you. 🎯 You need to think as you try to discipline yourself about what the reward will be. Visualize and feel the sense of having acquired a skill, of having started a business, of having felt pride. 🚧 If the work is too boring and tedious, it will be difficult to get past this point and stay disciplined. 🥇 In short, the key to maintaining discipline is to find pleasure in the process and anticipate the reward for your efforts.

People these days just use words without knowing what it means. 'Discipline' is training someone to do something and punishing them if they disobey. The same with 'success', people think a successful person is a person with money, but the truth is that anyone who achieves any goal they set for themselves is successful. Success isn't about money, it's about accomplishing a goal.
