I was blessed to be raised as a child to have morals and common sense. You rock Mr. Green.
  • Someone told me use both their daily meditations for insight. I’ve incorporated each antidote into my AM journal. I’m a month in and I feel like I’m winning every day. How could I loose with these two to help gear me up for the day. ❤️
  • I really enjoyed this conversation. I do feel like the anti-vax sentiment has not aged that well. We should definitely be sympathetic to these people. In my lifetime I have seen big pharma wreak havoc and death with the opioid crisis. I’ve lost people to it myself. That crisis was %100 the fault of big pharma. I’d say that’s good reason to treat people with kindness end empathy who are suspicious of the vaccine. Also, the studies can’t be released for 50 years and what we have seen has been heavily heavily redacted. You are them, they are you. You taught me that.
  • "It's resistance that make us stronger". Thank you, Robert, for this one. As when we are working out, as in life when we face a problem, it's resistance that makes us stronger. Why do we seek resistance in one scenario and run away from it in the other?
  • Two great men informing the world on how to cope better w life’s adversities
  • I’ve combined the daily stoic and daily laws into my new journaling habit, and I often look forward to journal on both of their thoughts.

Thank you Ryan and Mr. Greene for the education I receive every time we are graced with your wisdom. This is the Stoa of YouTube.
  • Such an honour & privilege to witness these two great wise writers Robert Greene & Ryan Holiday together in the same room, discussing the elegant virtues of stoicism as a creed for our times. Gratitude+++🙏💙
  • Even that he's way older than most of us he has more life in his eyes than many young people living today
  • Hey Ryan, “To be free of passion yet full of love” stood out to me as well. If you recall the sentence before that Marcus said “not to display anger or other emotions”. So what I think it means is if you’re angry at something you don’t allow yourself to go into a rage(passion) , but you’re still fully aware of how you feel (love). Another example, in romance, passion would be infatuation with the other person whereas love would be a clear on your desire for the other person. In summary I believe he is referring to an Aristotelian mean in a very poetic an eloquent fashion. -Thankyou
  • Watching these 2 legends is like watching a sensei and student discussing..
