World Horse Welfare has taken in a group of horses from the remote Scottish island of Islay after their owners were struggling to care for them due to the economic climate and poor health, the decision to remove the horses was a preventative measure to ensure the horses did not become serious welfare cases. Once these horses have been fully rehabilitated, they will be rehomed through our Rehome a Horse Scheme find out more bit.ly/rjzZZs

Can you guys please do an after video of some of these horses? <3 I love watching you rescue them but I love it even more seeing how healthy they look after you do.

Thrilled that the family cared enough to make the call for help. Horses could have been in much, much poorer condition.

At least the owner's knew there was a problem and cared enough to take action rather than letting the ponies starve.

I think world horse welfare is an amazing place and I love how they help horses that have been neglected and hurt and egnored

These owners didn't wait until the ponies were skin and bones before calling. This is what other horse owners should do before their animals' condition is a problem.

Thank you so much for helping the horses! I can't stand seeing them like this. It's to sad! How would the owners feal like if some left them and didn't treat them good!
