I'm a language teacher, Specifically Spanish at the moment. I have studied French, Spanish, Portguese, German, and Dutch, but avoided Latin thinking it was hard, but lately been looking at it and learning it. It is so easy. At this point just memorization. Kudos to your video friend!

When I get bored learning Italian, I learn some easy Latin. I feel so good about myself. LoL.

Thank you for putting this course online. Very, very well done. I was born and brought up in Italy, we studied classical Latin at school - before they made the curriculum easier in 1962. So I am one of the last of the old school, when we studied Latin at the Liceo Classico very intensively, for several hours, every day, and we translated from original Latin literature. Now 73 years old, I find that I have forgotten many words. It is a joy to follow your course, even if it is elementary, because it puts me back in touch with that great language. And wonderful to see that there are still many people interested in learning it.

I decided to start learning latin because I thought it would be cool. This is a really good toutorial in my opinion and is easy to follow.

I'm from Italy but I never tried to learn Latin since everyone always say that is scary and hard! But you make it so easy and lovely! Thank you!!

You are right about ancient Latin having a hard C and G. In church Latin they were softened to make singing in Latin more melliferous.

I feel like latin was one of those languages that you felt and interpreted in PERSON with human beings and everything around. Love it. Was the first language I was given in highschool by chance loved it.
