Love the teaching style - no fluff or cheerleading. Just gentle encouragement, clarity, and brevity. Great work!
  • I'm beyond excited that I juat the three lessons I'm picking up the concepts and building small sentences already. I'm constantly thinking "this is so f**king cool, I'm so proud of myself"
  • @diogenes3300
The best Latin lessons on YT. No frills, just good, thorough explanations. So many Latin lessons out there are just like "Latin has declensions! Learn them and come back for chapter two!"
  • @hesleyt
I need to watch lessons in sequence, not letting too many days in between lessons, and making many of notes to keep up. Great course!

  • @ThatOnlyFan
I have no real reason to learn Latin, but Im thankful your videos are on here.
  • @drakedorosh9332
My mind didn't register your opening statements about how all the nouns we had dealt with up to now were feminine. I guess I was expecting colored letters or something. Everything was super easy and I am grateful for that. I like how everything is set forth like a puzzle. For some reason I slowed down on this one yesterday but came back after a break. This time I realized you said "Imagine Habes was spelt with a "V". None the less an impressive start because of the clever way you have organized the information. I will spread the word.
  • I think there is a "u" missing in the sentence "Discipuls studet" in second 32.
  • @AzerPaul
I studied Latin in hs, but we never could speak it. If old Father McNicholis had used this teaching method we’d all have been conversing after the first month.

A Finn here - thank you so much for such an awesome resource for learning Latin in a more or less natural way! I am enjoying it greatly.
  • @yorkiem0m
aaaannnndddd back to lesson one for me, this 60 yr old brain doesn't absorb well, BUT I'm going to keep trying. I think you are an excellent teacher though, looking forward to figuring it out.
  • @TheShaitan2000
Another lesson eaten! I have to admit the last story was a little tricky this time in terms of new words and sometimes I forget some word endings or flexes, but it still is doable. I'll keep on learning tomorrow because it was too much info in a short period of time. Thank you for this channel and your lessons!
  • @pandasoli6581
With the last classes I could fully understand the story as my native language is portuguese. It is so close. I guess the pronunciation of latin I had in my mind is different from yours probably because of this. I love your classes. I learn without noticing 🖤
  • @maxyi2672
Great work. Thank you. Keep it up!!!
  • @liliana5603
You are the best teacher! I love your teaching style and you give me the excitement of every minute of the learning process!
  • @deoxlogius
It's really interesting to see how Latin have the same grammatical form and flexibility when it comes to sentence construction as the Greek language. I believe it's the result of these two languages interacting with each other throughout the centuries and borrowing elements from one another.
