  • How to look attractive: 1. Nose breathing, not breathing through mouth (Mouth Taping at night can help) 2. Eating raw fruits/vegetables/meat for ensuring your jaws are strong and solid. 3. Less sugar and strong jaw exercises.
  • Note: It’s best to NOT brush immediately after eating. Rinse with water, chew some fennel or cardamom….this is supportive. Then it’s safe to brush 45 mins to an hour after eating. This supports the oral microbiome and gut biome. Ancient medicine of Ayurveda …thanks.
  • I did Buteyko breathing yrars ago and taped my mouth at night. After 3 months of Carnivore eating, my mouth closes naturally without effort. My sinuses have cleared entirely, and i breathe without effort. I dont snore. I'm so happy about these improvements in my health

    There is a lot more info on this in the work of Dr. Weston price. He reviewed the dental health and the overall health of many traditional peoples before they industrialized, and he was a dentist so he examined their teeth and jaw structure in depth.

  • India we chew sesame seeds in the morning and fennel seeds after every meal. When we chew body creates more saliva which helps digestion. This is the Ayurvedic way to eat. Oil pulling also helps facial aging.
  • The factor of longer term breastfeeding of infants in jaw and teeth formation is almost always missed out in these discussions. Sometimes because of the mistaken assumption that infants suck breast milk which they don’t, it’s muscular action by a baby’s tongue, but also because we have very few examples of normal breastfeeding continuing to 2-3yrs after children start eating solids in Western societies ie breastfeeding alongside eating solids. We’re lucky if babies get 6 months.
  • Recently I started in professional breath work and meditation training. I was told to keep my tongue pressed up against the roof of my mouth. I think it’s pretty cool. I live alone and have a problem talking to myself. That in and of itself probably isn’t all that big of a deal but this has a tendency to keep me distracted. The tongue thing has been helping me be more mindful.

    I only used to floss occasionally after eating bacon and stuff that got stuck, it hurt and was a chor, till I bought a water flosser a few years ago, just jet between the teeth after brushing there brilliant!

  • This is so interesting. I’m uncomfortable breathing through my mouth, I don’t feel like it fills my lungs as much (I don’t know if that’s medically true or not, just the way it makes me feel). Also, it was just last year that I heard that people don’t naturally rest their tongue at the roof of the mouth. 🤯 It’s what I’ve always done.

    For me personally, this is a sign I should talk less. Not only will I breath through my nose more, but I'll also stop talking so much nonsense.
  • I started that jawshark a few weeks back- just do it every other day for a few min. I can tell the difference, I have a pretty face, but it helps my chin/jaw/ overall face look more defined I love it :)
