It's kinda crazy when you think about how many decisions, experiences, and twists in the road lead us to our current realities. I can't really explain exactly how we ended up here....but all I can say is that I'm pretty dang happy and grateful that we did. It's my birthday, and we're here in the incomparable Tahanea Atoll of the Tuamotu Islands in French Polynesia. If I could go back in time and show this video to a younger version of myself and explain that this is my future...I'm not sure if I would have believed what I was seeing! They say you shouldn't speak your birthday wishes out loud, but I can tell you that it looks a lot like this...

Happy Birthday! Some day, I will be living a similar cruising lifestyle. I am well on my way right now, about to close on my 36-foot blue water cruiser and prepping my 22-foot starter boat for sale. Many challenges are in my way, as well as many people trying to discourage me. But I am determined, and your videos confirm my lifetime goal. I don't feel at home on land, but the sea is always calling me. Thanks again!
