After spending a memorable two months sailing the Bahamas, we're down to our final sail before crossing the Gulf Stream to Florida. Our passage doesn't go according to plan and we push onwards while trying to time our arrival into the inlet in Fort Lauderdale. We hope you enjoy this raw and unfiltered overnight sail.

Sad seeing you leave that amazing area but totally get why lol, don't want to be there during hurricane season and this one looks to be a doosey this year. Anything that comes out of that galley looks like restaurant food! Id like to be the first to welcome you both back to North America HAHA its great to have you guys back!!!! Id say that this sail was a breeze by the way it looked. Seasoned salts back after a long journey, you should both feel so accomplished! super proud of what youve done and where you have been, amazing

So wild to see you back in the States after all the cool places you have been. Its crazy that its been that long since we first started watching you when you left your home in Canada. Look forward to seeing your plans on where to next. Your pizza looks great, always enjoy when you share what you like to make for food.

I’m always licking my lips over the tasty snacks made by Steph. Trav is one lucky dude. I’m sure you’ve learned a bunch of recipes being on the sail for three years.
  • @akllera
Safer to be back in Florida considering that 1st hurricane coming early.

Mr. T riding on the bow sprit (sp) was really cool! Looked so relaxing. Cheers.

Bitter sweet to be back in the USA. I hope you found the free or discounted dock you were looking for. Since you left the price of everything has gone way up. Especially food !

Love your videos, they are awesome! I’ve been following you guys for a while! Glad you guys have made it safe back to the states. I hope you guys continue on your journey after a while; there is so much more of the world to explore! lol …you guys have so much experience sailing now, maybe your next challenge will be sailing the Pacific Ocean…I hear Galapagos Island are nice!?!😉 stay safe guys and can’t wait to see what comes next. Thank you for sharing your adventures with all of us! 🙌❤️

Your Bahamas episodes have been great! I hate to see them come to an end but getting to the states for awhile will give you some relief from “island” prices. Just think how much more affordable things will be like pizza, boat supplies, fuel, and of course you can probably find some really good deals on engagement rings (hint, hint). Lol😊

Love love love this! You both have learned so much from doing this! In your old age you’ll be able to remember the wonderful memories that you have made! Happy memories and smooth sailing!

Funny how things work. No idea how far behind the "real" date you are but some of the other cruisers headed south for Grenada to hide out for Hurricane Season only to sail directly into a massive, early storm .. Hope you are safe and the others as well. Weather has become weird. Budapeter

OMG 😱 🎉 CONGRATULATIONS ‼️ ‘Round trip in 3 years. Wonder what’s next. Hope you are not done yet. 💪🏻🙏🏻 Was just describing to my bride (hint here 🤪) how I’ve been following your voyage and learning a ton about how check in works in different countries, and fuel and groceries. Will save a bit of learning curve when we get our next boat. See you next time. ✨🌊💨⛵️🏝️👙🌞✨

Wow, you should write a "Sailing Cook Book", pizza looked amazing and the oatmeal & peach combination was awesome. I ran into Port Everglades with Sealand, Inc a major container shipping company from New Jersey. The difference in traffic between your past Ports of Call and Florida must have been exciting?

Take the dinghy to Coconuts. Great food. Also 15th st fishery.
  • @RichardSwinton
glad u 2 are up in the bahamas and missed that hurricane that hit the caribean. worried sick about Lauren
  • @MrOvp
Great video, only thing that I am going to comment is that if on watch after sunset or alone, you should be wearing your PFD and be tethered. JMHO

Good video again Jibsea. US... raw and unfiltered. "Cat sh*t in my mouth" - I don't think I've ever heard that one before Travis. Back in the U.S.A. Chuck Berry & Linda Ronstat. One thing you might wanna look into getting next is a powered winch handle. Not a full electric winch - but a battery powered handle that makes raising the sails way easy for the both of you. I think I saw this item being used - on the sailing channel "Onboard Lifestyle" SV Basix.
  • Check out lake Sylvia for an anchorage near the 17th Street causeway bridge. Hug the port side as you go into lake Sylvia.
