If you're about to leave a comment saying you've heard the Timothy Treadwell audio and it's this audio here: https://youtu.be/g9lCkFygaaQ Then I'm afraid this audio is fake.

You know if Irwin survived, he wouldn't blame the stingray in the slightest
  • @PrinceVegita1
How tf does a guy eat a girl, get off scot-free AND then become a celebrity? I hate society.
  • @vertoatrum
Thank you for showing so much footage of Steve, it felt like I went right back to sitting in front of my childhood TV, smiling at my pseudo nature dad, the guy who inspired me to go into animal conservation. We all miss you, Steve 😢

For anyone wondering about Issei Segawa, while he was a celebrity for a time due to the horrible act he did, in later years before his death, particularly amongst the rising youth and up & coming, he became an outcast by everyone for it; he was unable to find work, no one wanted to publish his works, he was rejected from a French language school and was denied access to his parents' funeral... And he hated EVERY moment of it. So while he was never properly punished by the justice system, because of his actions (the actions he claims to have come to regret) he was unable to live even a passable life.

Imagine being killed, eaten, and having your body abused only for your killer to become a celebrity for it
  • I looked up the Japanese cannibal's victim photos. The fact this guy is still alive, a celebrity in Japan, and never got jail time shows there is something seriously wrong with this world.
  • @MasterHayate
I actually saw Dawn and Shamoo perform at Sea World as a little kid, I remember thinking how impressive and friendly she was and how awesome the whale was, even when he used his flipper to splash us all in the audience... learning this happened to her made me so sad, but learning how inhumane Sea World was made me even sadder.
  • A part of me will always be in denial that Steve is gone and has been for years now. Both of his kids, Bindi and Robert, have turned into great people. He'd be beaming with pride if he could see them today, i'm sure.
  • @FallenFlag9
To cut your arm off takes an unachievable level of courage. That mans will to survive is amazing.
  • @baenre
First guy is a total badass... to go through all of that is amazing, literally a miracle but then to go BACK afterwards? No. Nope. I could never.
  • Rip Steve Irwin. I miss you. You taught me to respect all life. I even broke my fear of non venomous snakes! Thank you. I may never get over your loss sir
  • I’ve had 13 broken bones in my life. Some of the most intense pain imaginable is a compound break. That dude intentionally broke his arm bones completely and THEN cut his own arm off with a multi tool. That dude is the toughest man on earth
  • It's worse to see the guy in the canyon relive his experience than it is the video he made. My heart went out to him at his reaction after he said "I wasn't even attached anymore and I fell down like this.." You can see he was looking around like he was dealing with a flashback of that traumatic experience. Makes me want to cry.
  • It’s depressing to know that someone can murder an innocent girl and perform necrophilia on her corpse and get away with it
  • @SomeGuyFromOK
Steve wouldn’t have blamed the ray at all. He probably would’ve apologized for encroaching on it’s territory. That one gets me every time.

I have family from Florida and my aunt used to be really close with Dawn. I met her whale as a kid at Sea World; after the show ended, we were allowed to go on stage to pet him, feed him fish - I stroked his tongue and teeth and everything. It’s so bizarre to have had such an intimate experience with this whale and Dawn herself.
  • @skxlter5747
I wouldn't want Steve's death to leak, for respect of his family I wouldn't want no one seeing my dad's death
  • @ItsNotEthereal
Steve Irwins death is kind of ironic. He was constantly around extremely aggressive and dangerous animals, but rarely got seriously injured. But he was stabbed to death by a stingray, an animal that is usually passive.
  • I wanted to be a trainer and work with Killerwhales when I was a kid - I was obsessed with it but then I saw Blackfish and heard about Dawn...it broke my heart how they blamed her. It also killed me inside after studying Killerwhales and learning how emotionally traumatized these poor creatures are in captivity. Living in a small pool is no life for them...they need their pods just like we need our families for support and love. They shouldn't blame Dawn though....that is a low move on their part.
