This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble youtube.com/post/UgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWx… by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
  • I’ve seen a lot of corner workbenches in the past 20 years or so! The center piece is an excellent addition for the workbench. Good job
  • Nice build, I did similar in my shop, for my bench tops I bought solid core doors at the local Habitat For Humanity Resale store, and used leftover hardwood flooring to cover the walls from the corners out to the ends of the benches, now I can display my Dad's antique tools to honor and remember him.
  • Thanks everyone for watching! Let me know if you plan of making something like this, or if it gives you any ideas to build something yourself!
  • I like the idea for the tool wall. It looks as if it is part of the actual bench build! Great job
  • Came here for help after watching Big Logan! Your video really helped me finish my corner workbench. Very easy to follow you, thanks!

Great build! Straight forward. Very practical bit of kit.
  • You made this look so easy! I’ve been looking for ideas to make my bench, and this helped a lot. That corner with the 2 45° angles is brilliant
  • Thumb's up.. Guy good job "Doing one myself" and I agree with Devin Crum!

This is what big logan did on his channel, I'm almost done with mine
  • Cut list? This is exactly what my basement looks like and I love this idea!
  • This work bench is so cool, you make some amazing stuff, definitely going to be going one of these when I get my garage. 👍
  • Alright, I'm 2 videos in, subscribed... great video. I need to re-do my shelves.
  • Great video and commentary, music however did my head in; the sounds of the shop are all I need.

Nice work! It seems like a lot of people really over-engineer their workbenches. To be honest I prefer simple methods, like using the wall as part of the structure. That alone saves a lot of money, resources, and time. Most people aren't doing transmission teardowns on their workbenches, not sure why so many designs incorporate 4x4's and super thick tops. I like using 2 layers of 1/2" MDF glued together as my top, and then I tack on a layer of tempered hardboard with tiny nails. You get a super hard surface that has quite a bit of mass. I also like that you added your shelf more in the middle vs. so many that put the shelf at the bottom and you lose all that storage. You could easily store bins on the floor.
