    I have your book Ginger, and my great granny lived on Fernley Road, and my Nins friend Kathleen had the flat down the side of the car sales, so I spent a lot of time in the yard visiting Rummy and his mates, with a pocket full of mints!

    I think everyone from Southport, of a certain age, loves Rummy! 💙 My mum's friend's husband, Mike Savage painted his portrait, which hung above the door in what was then The Red Rum Bar in Southport, then The Carleton
