It’s here. The sixth generation G80 BMW M3 and that massive grille. Being such a controversial car, there was only one person to slot into the carbon bucket seat of this £75k, 503bhp, rear-wheel drive saloon: Craig Revel Horwood. Unfortunately, he wasn’t around, so we put Chris Harris behind the wheel instead. We hope that’s alright.

Here’s what he had to say in this brand new instalment of Chris Harris Drives…

I love the fact video is basically Chris Harris on cars
  • The nostalgic editing and background music. It could only be Chris Harris on cars 😍
  • @mattholwood
Just moved from an F80 to a G80 and Chris is unbelievably on point when he said it has lost a lot of character but really makes up for it in capability. The generational leap has never been bigger. I will miss the insanity of the F80, but in the same way I do not miss the insanity of a crazy ex girlfriend. Growing up can be sad and beautiful at the same time.
  • Chris Harris on Cars is one of the best things that has ever happened to automotive journalism. Simply fantastic!
  • Ahhh, Topgear letting Chris do what he wants with content. Love it.
  • The good old days of Chris Harris on cars .. no scripted monologues , no motoring journalist silly statements , just an honest fun review .. love it .
  • As a long time fan of BMW I'm just happy they are nailing the dynamics again, literally every car in the range drives better than everything in class.
  • I hope Chris has a good doctor, his back must be killing him from carrying this show
  • It's so good to see Chris in his element, minimal to no scripting and great camera work with no silly top gear editing.
  • Can Top Gear please just be 1 hour of Chris Harris complaining about cars while drifting them?
  • Unbiased , straight to the point, informative, Extraordinary Presenter and no fancy language - Secret to heaven

Love the honesty of this review. Bet all the youtuber “influencers” will all sing all its praises in case BMW might not send them a Christmas card. Chris does what he wants! 👍🏼
  • @jamar959
There's a Chris Harris review, then there's everyone else. Cheers mate!
  • @Jia1337
The grill is evolving... just backwards.
  • Why oh why don't we see more of This Chris Harris . Not the false personality the Tog Gear producers demand on the show.
  • Chris Harris is the saviour of top gear he is a legend and a really good driver
  • The Classic Duo strikes again, Thank you Top Gear for letting CH and Neil preform their craft.

Can't get enough of Chris's journalism, reminds of what made me fall in love with Top Gear back in 1992!!
