  • I can’t believe Walter forced this honest fast-food businessman into his drug empire to manage his distribution

Guy knows who he's dealing with, his sworn enemies. Still puts out a veggie platter for the meeting lol

Gus is invaluable as an ally, but a fucking nightmare as an enemy

Gus, Mike, and my man Saul were some of the best side characters ever written. This show was a masterpiece
  • @DanXRojas
Walter just being jealous that they hired Jesse right after he refused Walter is such a child in this show
  • My favorite line from Gus is when he says, “Hey Sal, how come there ain’t no brothers up on the wall?!”
  • @redvegy
"I don't believe fear to be an effective motivator" 5:47 vs. "Hand me that boxcutter, my good man"
  • Walt was so unhinged im surprised he made it through the 1st season. But he made a killer product that no one can duplicate.

I always found it so sad the scene where Gus donates to walts cancer fund. That one small gesture has so many greater implications. It shows both sides of gus in one interaction. Hes doing it to conceal the fact that he already knows all about walter and knows what hank doesnt. But it also shows the side of gus that maybe would have given walter a real donation anyway if that interaction was genuine. It also reveals to us as the audience what kind of person walter truly is. Everyone around him, even gus shows sympathy towards his cancer. Everyone just wants to help walt and be there for him. But walts ego and pride had turned him into heisenberg already and the walt we see on that donation jar is just a sad image of what could have been if walter was a better person.

Not every single scene. One of the first few scenes was his ridicule of Walt for having Jessie a junkie around as an associate.

i think you forgot the first time they talked. at least its not in order. "i dont think we're alike at all mr white"
  • @nejw8w9ws
If they ever make a biopic about Obama, I think Giancarlo Esposito would be a strong contender to play him.

i can’t imagine the effort that goes into these

It's weird how they always snap the flip phone in half. I used to repair cell phones and the only thing that would do is disconnect the the top half(containing the speaker and the screen) from the bottom half

One of the best character in TV history!!!!! Absolutely incredible

I once had a friend who admired Gus for the tasty chicken, he went to him at the restaurant to ask if he can have a copy of the recipe after eating there for so many years. I never heard from him and never saw him again, his home was up for sale in such a short amount of time.
