Started off one of the bridge missions with “How hard could it be?” Then I proceeded to flip 4 trucks (Twinsteer, 64131, ct681 and the tatarin) while managing to deliver nothing…

The amount of work you put into this. All respect

I hope you keep this series going it's very useful and informative hopefully you'll be able to do the new don region in phase 5 that's coming (hopefully released soon) and we also have phase 6,7,8 and another expansion to look forward to

Great video Nathan! In between switching jobs in real life I’ve been busy with the Amur maps. Now that I uncovered most of all maps I thought I’ll have a look at your recommended routes video. Most of the routes I’ve been using as well but I did learn a few new ones! Thanks for the great video!

Seriously this is the best guide on YT, and probably the internet for this area. I like think I am a competent player and have my wits about me but this region shocked me with its difficulty. Even having some good time in the game this guide was useful and I got some good insights! It was nice to know I didn't suddenly lose understanding of the game mechanics and see that it was just a brutal region haha!

Hello Nathan, I would have to correct you here and say that the Ice areas near the garage is actually very easy to traverse! Infact you can get to Metal Beam factory (and not go thru the tiny ice bridge thing) by simply building the bridge and using the bridge instead. All you have to do is go parallel the road until you reach the bridge!

great work my friend.... never seen something like this before on the tube. i agree with you 100% and i struggled my self on every single trail on these maps. I'm on my gard mode run now but still in wisconsin. Can't wait to get to Amur :) keep up the series and the good work. Thanks, stay safe and take care :)

What an amzing video man, thank you so much You put so much attention and effort to details, really amazing

Interesting what routes other people drive. The routes that I use as main roads are sometimes not even marked as paths on your map ^^ At the urska river e.g. I drive directly behind the workshop on the ice, to the street, but for that you have to endure the mud path next to the workshop.

This series of map navigation discussions and overviews is seriously top-notch work, Nathan. I'm doing Amur right now and, if that wasn't clear enough from your terrain and route analysis, I'll just state the obvious and say: Don't use small scout trucks in Amur. Anything smaller than the Loadstar 1700, F750, Tuz 420 Tatarin (and the Yar 87 I guess, I don't own this scout) will be stuck in deep snow, deep mud, and cracking ice. Another thing I did was to pre-emptively bring materials into the Northern Aegis Installation region, especially for building bridges. I did it little by little, in between other missions, because otherwise it's just annoyingly tedious busywork. Cheers! //Rick

Brilliant and really informative. Started Amur today and the red/green zones will really help with my route planning. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Lost my safe game at the end of Wisconsin. I quit the game for two years and just restarted and reached Amur. You can really tell how the devs lovingly gave in to the community asking for harder maps

Little update: playing on Amur since 2 weeks. I have every task on urska done and Completed NAI except the 2 large mission trailers and the seismic scans. I used up all metal beams and getting new ones drives me mad. I just rewatched the Urska River part to see what I did wrong and I’ll definitely change my route, cause I used to go the path through the mountains. Flipped way to often there. One metal beam left to open the blocked tunnel. Then I’ll get myself the 605R and hopefully progress a bit faster. I kinda like Amur so far but having to do the same journey for every task in urska and NAI is annoying. I hope I’ll get some variation in the next two maps

I tell you a crazy route! Took p16 with the huge crane near Warehouse and use it to send the little Zik up to bring metal rolls at the edge and collect them with the crane and used them to build metal beans. Achieved "Through blood and sweat" (which is not a big deal) but in this context, I felt it!

This pfase with map Amur is way to difficult in my opinion. Tough isn't a dealbreaker for me normally but this map is beyond annoying.
-
This is a great series for the hardest maps.
-
From Urska to Cosmo the route is actually quite easy-moderate for even an 8 slot trailer can go through. The area that you didn't recommend to use. Thanks for the video. It's a mammoth effort.
-
Very professional videos. This will be a great resource for many players.
-
Awesome video man, thanks a lot. Will defenitely need it before I tackle this on hard mode... But I sure don't feel like going there on hard mode... Just completed Kola Peninsula and i hated it (especially Imandra).

I know this is old, but on Urska river, instead of following the route on the most left side, you can skirt around on the ice and follow the road on the right, there's a section of ice next to the rocks where the ice isn't broken, way quicker than taking that left route
