Have you ever wanted to trick a video game? Today I am playing The Sims 4 a game that released in 2014 and rapidly became regarded as the best modern life simulator. Amazingly it has had little to no competition in the last decade. It has however received hundreds of updates, patches, DLCs, bug fixes, glitch removals and exploit removals. This now means the game costs a wonderful $1000 to own all the content. Today I will be breaking the game and showing my favourite sims 4 glitch that allows you to break the reality of the game, trick it into giving you money and have a lot of funny moments along the way!

If you enjoy the Sims 4 you can get it for free on steam and if a steam sale hits you can attempt to own the entire game if you have more money than sense: store.steampowered.com/app/1222670/The_Sims_4/

The games description is: Play with life and discover the possibilities. Unleash your imagination and create a world of Sims that’s wholly unique. Explore and customize every detail from Sims to homes–and much more.

Which if I am honest is a little bit ominous. "Play With Life and discover possibilities" Straight up sounds like a horror line or a god game. Of course I guess this is kind of a god game!

What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced gameplay series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold and infinite money all in a fantastic montage. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.

  • This is exactly the way the developers intend you to play the game
  • @averyeml
Haven’t watched it yet but “I broke The Sims 4” is like saying “I broke the McDonalds ice cream machine.” Can’t break what was never whole 😂
  • I love how Spiff is just so experienced in finding exploits that he accidentally found one while already attempting one
  • @pedropiper173
Seeing a youtuber playing the sims without all of the DLC really brings a tear to my eye. Spiff is a man of the people!
  • @TeahThyme
Playing The Sims exactly as intended, by making the neighbours angry once you’re rich enough to not need any friends anymore, and eventually having a nice graveyard 👌
  • @amswain1
"Pee v. Pee" got me actually laughing out loud. Well done.
  • @katlikegaming
Sims 4 exploits are wild. Queueing up the same interaction repeatedly can be used in a few places; one of my favorites is to get a few levels in Writing skill and then queue up several "Write Love Letters" to someone (there's a cooldown, but the queued ones will still go through). They can hate you when they go to bed, then wake up to an inbox full of romantic spam and be absolutely smitten.

I feel like it's actually harder to play the game WITHOUT breaking it
  • @ObviouslyASMR
I have a feeling you could've bought a smaller plot of land, built less on it and asked the same price, you know, for ultimate landlordism
  • @Oblithian
17:01 Spiff casually admits to tax evasion. His Majesty's tax system is a perfectly balanced game with NO exploits.
  • The dialogue between Lucy Landgrab and Lucy Landgrab made me want to hear Spiff narrate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
  • @MyDude199
65 dollars a day, almost 2000 dollar rent Spiff: Thats pretty afforadble
  • @melrakan
Spiff finding increasingly creative ways of manifesting textbook cases of fraud into video games is truly admirable
  • Spiff has done quite a few get rich quick schemes in The Sims 4, and I have to say this is probably the one that involved the least amount of human suffering. Also the fastest. Well done?
  • @grayqueen814
When you said it was released 10 years ago you gave me a hell of a reality check
  • @FriendlyKat
Spiff broke the game so hard that he even confused himself! That’s talent! Love this Sims content! I hope to see more shenanigans like this! LOL
  • @SirVelstadt
My heart goes out to the British family who were evicted from their house for having ghosts without a haunted house license 😔
  • @biohazard8702
I like how the megastructure jail cell Spiff built was meant to be an exaggeration but I know student accommodation in London is much much worse and costs more
