Benefits of Chia Seeds
1) Chia seeds are naturally low in carbs and high in fibre! 2 tbsps. provide you with the 11g of fibre, which is almost half of the daily recommendation.

2) Because of all the fibre, chia seeds can absorb up to 10 times their weight in water, becoming pudding-like and expand in the stomach when eaten, which keeps you feeling fuller for longer.

3) Hence, it’s often recommended to those who want to lose weight, curb hunger and reduce food portion.

4) The high fibre content will also provide you with sustained energy throughout the day.

5) Consuming chia seeds prior to workout can also boost workout performance for up to 90 minutes. Instead of consuming those sugar-laden energy drinks, eat chia seeds instead.

6) Chia seeds are also ranked amongst the top plant based source of protein, omega-3 fatty acid and calcium.

Simple mix in about 1 tbsp. of chia seeds to 2 cups of liquid of your choice. Let it sit for about 15 minutes or overnight for the chia seeds to expand. If you want to, you can either sweeten with a little bit of honey or maple syrup, add lemon slices or ice cubes and enjoy them chilled!

Chia Coconut Water
1. 2 cups Coconut Water
2. 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds

Chia Green Tea
1. 2 cups Chilled Green Tea
2. 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds

Chia Fruit Juice
1. 2 cup 100% Fruit Juice
2. 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds

Chia Coffee
1. 2 cups Chilled Coffee
2. 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds

    I have been drinking chia seed drinks for a week now and let me tell you it seriously does control my hunger (cravings) by keeping me full and helps in aiding my digestion ! I had bought them a year or so before; did not knew what to do with them but this time I have been using them and they are working great ! Being consistent is te key !! Thanks joanna.

    I added chia seeds to my water yesterday without really knowing the benefits of it (I saw a co worker doing it) and when I went on my run, I noticed sooo much more energy to the point where I was a little concerned as to where I was getting it from 😂 today, I found this video and it makes sense now! I 100% recommend you guys trying this! (And also, I was not hungry most of the day yesterday when I’m usually hungry all the time)
  • I just tried this and it's amazing. Water with 1 tsp lemon juice , 1 tbls honey , 1 tbls chia seeds in 8 oz water. Delicious. Can't wait to try the coffee and tea for tonight( I work nights). Thank you

    I made two 16oz jars of chia seed water and had it yesterday. Oh my, was I ever REGULAR (in a good way!)! Felt like I gave my body a good flushing. AND... it made my stomach flatter (of course). Also added some to my home made strawberry water kefir (which makes it kombucha). I'm definitely gonna keep having 2T of chia seeds per day (in drinks). What an awesome suggestion that was! Thank you!

    Excellent writing and presentation in a very professional video format. This is a perfect example of how Joanna once again, teaches far more in under four minutes. Compared to a lot of other internet and even television productions. Who present far less in far longer presentations. Even with bigger working budgets.

    I like Lemon flavored sparkling water, with 100% juice (raspberry juice) and chia seeds. I haven't thought about adding them to my coffee. I don't think i have a trouble getting my daily intake cause i often replace the egg in baked goods with chia seeds.

  • Hello. New sub here💚 Been working out with my friends since 1.9.19 and I’ve lost 5kg (not bad🙂) and now we are on oatmeal diet challenge💪🏻. As for me, I am adding chia seeds on my oats with flaxseeds, cinnamon and 🍎🥝🥕🍓🍌 and I am loving it. Never thought chia can be incorporated in drinks. Will definitely try this like NOW☺️ thank you🌸
