The problem with this movie was that this was the THIRD movie. By now, Daniel should have been much better at karate. He looked more inept than he looked in the first movie. And I'm not just talking about the tournament. All of the confrontations leading up to this tournament, Daniel looked like a beginner again. It made no sense.

If only Mike would of attacked during Kata. The whole movie his determination was there and he was ready to destroy Daniel. Then he uses KATA and becomes scared I don’t buy it.

Daniel relied on plot armour, if Silver didn't make it go to sudden death Mike would have won 3-0 easily, Daniel flipping a national champion lol yeah right, now his daughter Sam has plot armour too.
