I now have a VERY solid understanding of the scroll wheel.
  • One thing I love about Doug's videos is that his old videos are just as watchable as his new ones. The most consistent YouTuber I know, and I love him for it! Seriously, don't change a thing. This format is solid gold.

Sales person: "so what color would you like on your brand new Bentley?" Customer: "I like the color blue" Sales person: "say no more"

Doug, a buddy of mine bought one of these brand new and he told me the reason that spoiler operation is incremental when lowered is to maintain stability at high speeds. It allows you to drop the spoiler a fractional amount to add a few more miles per hour on the top end while still maintaining enough down force to maintain stability. He said if you hold the button down for 2-3 seconds it will go all the way down. Pretty genius engineering.

Doug, the type of guy to mistake a cup holder for a weirdly shaped oval thing to hold your weird oval containers
  • @Chris-pt6hh
Doug. It's a cup holder. Not a weird oval thing. Not everything is a quirk. XD

Seems like there’s a bunch for sale with mileage around 24k...hmm? I wonder what service is required at 25k?
  • The key is a spare key, mine is a 2004 and it has a spare key just like that. Primary key is a proper Bentley key, heavy as hell.

The programmatic stoppage of the wheel on the infotainment screen is genius...totally helps with fiddling around with the system while driving (not that you’re supposed to be fiddling with it while driving, BUT, you’ll eventually know how many clicks you’ll need per category to choose a “value”, so the wheel stopping helps you know where you are in the system/category...and you don’t need to take your eye off the road as much as the Menu becomes meshed with muscle memory. Brilliant UX design)

my grandparents had the same car, well except it was a lumina, but it had the same outside and interior color

11:19 the Global Close button is for passing through dangerous neighborhoods
  • From some angles it looks bloated and weird, from others, it’s heartstoppingly stunning.

My grandma had the same car but the interior was all red...anyway she would always tell me that seat heating level 3 was sweet spot. Miss you Gammy!

$50,000 is a great deal...until it breaks down and you’ll have to pay another $50,000 for repairs
  • I watched this video a couple years back . I was in love with the color combo no BS I purchased one in Miami same color combo I am unbelievably happy . Never thought I’d be so happy with a 2005 in 2023

The "weird oval shaped thing" inside the center armrest IS in fact a cupholder. Also, the global close button was for when you're parking your car, not for when you're on the highway. You hit global close as you're getting out and everything closes and locks.
