  • This is great! The Monport 130w CO2 laser with its built-in chiller has been a reliable workhorse in my shop. The chiller keeps the laser running cool and consistent, which is crucial for maintaining accuracy and preventing damage. I've been impressed by its power and precision, allowing me to tackle a wide range of projects with ease. The machine is sturdy and well-built, making it a solid investment.
  • Your video is great. I ordered a Monport 100-watt CO2 laser today. Thank you.
  • @7005r
I have this exact laser and this video filled in so much missing information from the setup guide and owner’s manual. Thank you for putting this out. Once I’ve got the machine squared away, it’ll be on to library building.

Saw this video posted: "Oh heck ya!" Saw it was an hour long: "Oh heck ya, now I know what I'm watching while working tomorrow!"🤘
  • @NMLongshot
Nicely done on this video. I'm headed into a buy-a-laser this year, and I tend to over research specs and setup details. Thanks for this.
  • @RFXLR
I learned all about lasers from Chris Knight, Mitch Taylor and Kent. Prof Hathaway didn't help much though.
  • @bearsstuff
I have this exact laser in my cart right now. I need to finish my remodel so I have somewhere to put it, but I don't think I've seen a more thorough setup how-to video related to CO2 lasers. I have to imagine a lot of what you're doing is what Thunder/Boss/Aeon are doing, but it doesn't look like $5k+ in labor. I think I'll wait for your review video to get your impressions after you've had some time with it. Will definitely use your coupon code if I do end up ordering from Monport. Thanks!
  • i just received my 80W auto focus and want to put it in the garage yet I am in Houston where summer temps can range into the 90's. I ordered the chiller to use and a couple of fan to move air. Do you believe I need to dehumidify and cool the air?
  • I noticed the lasertube has tape on it should you remove the clear tape?
  • @tonyriek4997
If you would do it all over again, would you get another monport?
  • @7005r
How is your parameter library building going? I’m struggling a little bit with mine. Cutting has been the hardest part. I think i need to upgrade my air assist.
