I have four kids not going to lie the sweatshop idea has crossed my mind those sewing machines would pay for them selves in no time lol!
  • To save time on your engraving, put each logo in a separate layers for the engraving part. You then engrave each logo complete before moving on to the next. This saves time cause your laser doesn't travel between logos all the time i.e. white space. Then put your cutting all in one layer to be done last.

If you miss a cut but don't move the material you can cut it again. I have a similar laser and run into this all the time with new material. Just cut the outside in another pass or two to save the part.

Dude, what a great video, comedy, great family, a wife who puts up with you and brings you beer. Anyway, loved the video, I was considering a Monport C02 (on an Xtool d1 diode now) and I think you sold me. The only issue I have is the model you have (in my price range) is sold out. I am buying this Christmas.....so thanks (I think) for pushing me over the edge. I will be sure to let them know you sent me.
  • @OneEyeCustoms
Ok, the key chains are a pretty cool idea! I like that!!!
  • @Trex450S
I think it is AWESOME! that you involve your family!!!
  • The Florida pool pump motor repair guy 32750 approved ! that was good info Spicer Designs:face-blue-smiling:
  • I belong to a Makerspace and when i was making Arduino clone kits when Arduino first came out we used to have "sweatshop sundays" where everone would help either program the chips or put things in the kits. All i had to do was buy pizza. Best business decision ive ever made haha
  • @alphahotel0076
this has worked for me like 80% of the time, great strategy
  • @kiotimike
Looks great can't wait what else you will make next. Cheers 🍻
  • When I did my keychains, I made a jig with the laser, which would work great for applying the resolene in batches and keep them from moving. Super easy to make with a scrap piece of 1/8 ply.
  • Surprised Ryan Reynolds hasn't contacted you to be a stand in ... dude, brother from another mother. 🤣Great video but your math sucks! LOL
  • @jeffnewbill8163
I have to LOL... Your adjustable table is not from Amazon; at least the one in your video and the link provided don't match.. Why not post the link to Home Depot? Nevertheless, love your videos, and I did use your code to order the 150W machine from Monport, but they dicked around too long and I ended up canceling my order. If I order another one, I will be sure to use your code again.
  • Hit the escape button twice and the laser head will return to its last origin. I train new laser owners all over the world virtually. I would sell them for a minimum of $5.50 each wholesale. Their markup is no concern of mine. $65 - $85 for setup, and a design fee. Potentially bringing your total to $340

Look at investing in some split ring pliers. I use them for changing treble books on fishing lures and it makes using the split rings much easier!
