Pencil and Paper Circuit

I got a CircuitScribe conductive ink pen, but I'm dicking around with a pencil instead of using it. :p

I tape a red LED to the paper where I drew the circuit with the pencil and I use a pair of 3v coin batteries (DL/CR 2016) to turn on the LED. The resistance of the pencil lead is quite high (around 40kΩ/cm, according to my meter), so the LED doesn't get very bright. The CS pen that I'm not using here has a much lower resistance of 1Ω/cm.
