Joe, you are fast becoming my favourite car journalist. I love your plain honesty and authenticity and Im not referring to the car reviews. In a world thats driven by fake perceptions I love your hineaty as we all relate. Having said that your car reviews are so well written, edited and enjoyable. Keep doing what you do...you are very good at it and good things will happen.
  • @JamiePursey
So glad you got this car, you’re one of a very few reviewers who go so deep into the details.
  • @fhartse
I drove Taycan S at the Porsche Experience in Los Angeles for 90 minutes and it used only 15% of the battery. We did at least 10 launches and multiple track laps and it was hot, I was impressed.
  • @phughes4224
Brilliant car. Software upgrade now pushes the range > 300 miles if sensible :)
  • @leored79
Joe - charging expressed in terms of power, i.e. Watts. Kilowatts, Megawatts etc.; capacity/usage in kilowatt hours (kWh)!
  • the best and most detailed review I've seen about the Taycan 👌 brilliant video mate
  • @chrismunsey3185
This car gives me some relief and hope for the future in which we’re heading with EV’s. Great job Porsche👌🏽 Another 🔥video Joe!👊🏼
  • @mattholland315
Great video Joe! The filming really showed how rapid this thing is. I did, however, watch the whole thing waiting for your comments on how the chassis performed and what the steering was like. Can you do a part 2? Please?
  • Great video Joe - Yours is the first review I’ve watched of an EV that makes me not feel too worried about the future for us petrol heads! I’m even considering how a Taycan could fit nicely alongside my GT4 now!

Hey Joe, thanks for the comprehensive video. Really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work, and glad you decided to keep making videos like this. Regarding the Taycan Brakes: It may have something to do with the Regen. Porsche says, you won't have all the regen (or something like that) the first 500 or so miles. Therefore the blended braking and range regeneration (the Porsche can do up to 270 kw, or 1.4G's) may not be at it's fullest, and that's what you could have experienced (if you're not just sensitive altogether). Additionally, most Taycan drivers range usually gets better the more they own it, drive it (unless they drive it like an absolute madman). The Porsche Range Manager's conservative as well. So, you will usually get more range than what it says. The Glass is treated with 9 layers, and most owners says it doesn't give off heat, even on really hot days. So, that shouldn't be a problem. Of course your mileage may differ. Good for you, for Checking out TaycanForum and Car Wow before this for insight and pespective!

GREAT review! I watched the ENTIRE thing; great work, very informative and engaging
  • That is the most amazing Taycan review!!! If Joe is working for Porsche the sales of this car will be 10x more👍
  • @cbgls2413
Man it's so good to see reviews with tall people. I'm also 6.4 and the majority of the car reviews are with small people which is not so ideal for me. I went based on reviews, to test drive cars and the moment when you realise you can't fit in properly is priceless :D
  • @aneebaba06
Great review Joe! Thank you for sticking with it in these difficult economic times. Greetings from the mad-house that is the USA.
  • @chinook9857
Awesome video Joe and great to see you back reviewing cars again after a tough year. Keep it up
  • @RobinH8869
Best Taycan review so far - very fair and proper real world views. Well done Joe
  • @fhkazm
Got to drive the Taycan this week at my Porsche dealer. Beautiful car. Great performance....but....that B pillar is a problem for tall drivers like myself. It is very awkward and difficult to exit the vehicle with ease and dignity. That one issue was a deal breaker for me. I'm 6'4" and don't want to struggle to enter and exit the vehicle.
  • @vagjagan
    Your courtesy and humility ❤️!
  • Enjoy the video, great to see your demonstration of entry and exit as well as seating proportions. Does the options list include a sound module like seen on the Tesla?
