GAZZA: Snubbing Man Utd and Liverpool, Chats with the Pope, and Trashing the Training Ground

2024-06-07に共有
Why would Fergie definitely NOT have been able to tame Gazza? What did the Pope have to call Gazza about? How did a runaway tractor land him with his first fine as a footballer?

Gary, Alan and Micah are joined by the legendary Paul Gascoigne to talk about his incredible love for football and which club he was the happiest at.

  • Strange story but last year i dealt with an addiction and started watching this podcast when i could barely do anything else, 1 year later im sober and hearing these Gazza stories really cracks me up. If someone else out there deals with addiction dont forget, one day at a time, we got this!!!

Best I've seen him in a long time. Stay well Gazza. The greatest talent this country has ever produced. Genius. ❤
  • Genuinely lovely bloke, when Luton get relegated away to Notts County in 1992, we saw Gazza in a chauffer driven limo on the way home, we mooned our behinds at him, so he stuck his arse out of the window back, we laughed all the way home down the M1 lol🤣🤣

Brilliant. I'm a Geordie who saw Gazza in his darkest times back home in various bars. To see him looking good and full of smiles is special. Thank you everyone involved!
  • @MeAmBort
You know when Gazza starts a story off with “the groundsman had a tractor” it’s gonna be a belter, top bloke!
  • @95acw88
Gazza was before my time but wow hahaha who else on earth has that many mad stories. He makes Balotelli look like an angel
  • Gazzas looking well. Glad to see he looks like he’s doing better. What a player, always wore his heart on his sleeve
  • @darrenlee9237
I've never seen Michah Richards so quiet and starstruck. Must be Gazza's star-quality!
  • Just got round to watching this. As I thought. This was brilliant!! Could listen to Gazzas stories all day. Great to see him looking well and on top form.....
  • @MrSmudgerooo

Gazza and Laudrup were genius for Rangers, dream team.
  • @LoneRangerG5
Looking forward to this one. Had the pleasure of chatting to Gazza in Glasgow when he was at Rangers in 96. Absolutely top bloke. And what a player he was too, we are lucky to see him in fantastic form at Ibrox. 👍🏼

A true national treasure. I hope he knows how much love and goodwill there is for him out there.

Didnt see much of gazza whilst he was at Newcastle being a liverpool fan but once saw him beat five players in the opposition box. He just had a sixth sense and eyes in the back of his hand and superb ball control. A true one off.

Big up to big Meeks for being a good listener and not injecting himself into conversations that he doesn’t know much of. Big respect I reckon it would take a lot of mental strength to actually just sit and listen on a podcast I know I would be anxious as hell thinking that I need to say something to fit in
  • @TheSkyOnFire
Saw a clip on tiktok and gazza is frigging hilarious!
  • For me watching you three talk is so wonderful to me. I was in basic training with the Army in 1990, and they only let us watch a few games, I missed the semi final. In 1996 I was sent to Bosnia on my 2nd 6 month tour, and I listened to the opening match via the World service on a Bosnian hillside in 40° C , never eaten a Toblerone since. We flew home on an RAF Hercules during the Spain match back to Germany, and we only knew the result when we landed. I watched the semi in Germany with my German girlfriend (now wife of 25 years), and still think of those days and what could have been. It doesn't matter, as I get on, the memories, the life, the players you all were, the music in both tournaments (New order 90s) (Oasis 96) means everything to me. It shaped my life, it makes me proud to have watched and supported such people as you, who cares if we didn't win, your goal Gazza against Scotland, your goal Shearer against Holland, and big ears, well your goals ;) Thanks you all. God bless!

It was Gazza playing for England in Euro 96 that made me realise as a kid what it means to play for your country.
