When I was far less knowledgeable about dating, I was seeing a guy for 3 months. He then said he had met someone (not even someone "else") and we parted. He then popped back into my life without explanation, and just kept sending my funny memes. After a month I told him I didn't want to be a funny text friend because my feelings for him and desire to get to know him hadn't changed. He ghosted. That was 8 months ago. I'm glad I stood up for myself and I've learned so much since then!

I love it when you said that just because someone is thinking about you and even taking it to the next step where they make that clear and shower you with gifts and attention, does NOT mean that they are ready or even willing to be your partner. Some men just like to be on your mind and like the attention they get from a woman who they find attractive / powerful. Sadly even if us women are aware of this we can still fall for them and then wonder what’s wrong with us if they don’t want to commit... “Give them the opportunity to step up and walk the fuck away if they do not” - best thing I’ve heard on the Internet. Been online dating this guy, he seems consistent with his communication and is fond of sending his photos on a regular basis just to let me know what he is up to. I do the same and it has been fun. Hi Mark! I totally "dated" a man & would ALWAYS be there when he wasn't dating anyone. He did everything you mentioned in your video. Now he has a long term girlfriend & when he started that relationship I eventually said I was over it (after 4 years of accepting his BS)....wouldn't go back to allowing him to "breadcrumb" me anymore. Can't believe it took 4 years for me to finally call it quits!

That advice is spot on with the yo yo guy and the stable guy so true! It’s loving yourself enough to filter out those guys when you need that stable relationship as I get older it only keeps ringing more true I wish I would have listened to this advice when I was younger. But I realized those experiences made me who I am today and I always have the choice to learn and make my relationships better 😄
