I’ve been wondering why I was having breakouts recently. Because of this video, I realized that it was definitely the excess sugar I’ve been consuming lately. Thanks, Dr. Youn.

A clean diet, less stress, genetics, and avoiding anything white/ refined/ processed plays a major role in skin.... 🧬 Genetics 🧬🧬🧬🧬🧬✨

Hi Dr. Youn! Always love your videos. Great tips, with many healthy choices! I have a very firm routine: breakfast = fresh orange juice, oatmeal porridge with honey, multivitamin and garlic pills. Then a lunch with steamed vegetables (carrot, string beans, ..) and sandwiches or rice with lean meat (chicken/turkey breast). Fruits bowl (apple, pear, melon, kiwi) around 4pm. Then vegetarian dinner of a vegetable soup and then rice and fish - usually casseroled. Finishing with a skimmed milk yoghurt. I have 3 rules on top of this schedule: no fried foods, no snacks, and as previously mentioned: vegetarian dinner. Lost 10kg in 1 year, feel great, lost my decades-old acne (with some help of a prescription grade retinoid cream) and have the best skin in my life at age 38.

What about goat and sheep milk (provided the animals have been fed their natural diet and not grains) ? They do not contain A1 beta-casein (whose metabolite, beta-casomorphin-7, is pro-inflammatory) but A2 beta-casein which has not been shown to promote inflammatory processes. And sheep milk in particular contains half as much IGF-1 as cow's milk.
  • I watched Cells At Work: Code Black and saw the episode where the O2 blew up the cells the RBC was delivering to. 😮 I ended up doing a deep dive on ebscohost to learn all I could about ROS. I know our bodies have a pretty tight homeostasis and balance ROS but I still like the “eat the rainbow” idea to thwart any free radical oxidative materials that go unchecked.
  • Hey hey Dr. A! ❤ Ok, to your personal knowledge, is there any connection with collagen ravaging cancer cells? I've just heard this from another you tuber & i don't know if i should believe or dismiss. 😮 Lovin' your sense of humor!
