“How’s the party?” “𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔”
  • Something about a bugsnax character saying that’s why your wife left you activated my fight or flight response

My game design lecturer told us he bought this game thinking was a cute and wholesome family game and let his 6 year old daughter play it, apparently she was traumatised. (He played it himself and likened it to "the last of us with cute cartoon fruit")
  • Forcefeeding Gramble Bugsnax while he’s sleepwalking is genuinely one of the most fucked up things I’ve seen in a video game.
  • @nicknayme8656
Chat spamming "reject humanity become bunger" hits different after you see the ending
  • The game: >Seemingly designed for children. Also the game: >Primary gameplay mechanic centers purely around body horror.

This game is rated 7+ for the 7+ years of therapy I'll need to go through after playing it
  • @RaspberryPastry
Just realized everyone has no bugsnax limbs when you show up because they're literally starving, that's... Kind of intense
  • @turma8eac
The Latin at the end is: You are what you eat Everything is bugsnax
  • @mrsexy5680
“Are people really tryibg to spoil bugsnax of all games? Really?” and then he figured out why
  • Fun fact: If you scan the sasquatch (it's an achievement) and press the button to take you to the journal entry on it, it takes you to Elizabert's page. I just think that's neat.
  • Fun fact, this game was the replacement game for RT’s stream that day, as he originally planned to continue a Hitman file but couldn’t get the game to load

Bugsnax feels like you try to chill and play animal crossing but all of a sudden tom nook appeares, tells you you need to pay back your debt, rips open his body and consumes you to turn you into bells
  • If anyone's interested, the latin at the end translates to: "Tu quid edas"- "You are what you eat" "Omne vivum ex Bugsnax"- "All life out of Bugsnax"
  • I love that as soon as Daniel got the device his first decision was to start human experiments and create horrifying monsters

7:30 the fact that bugsnax actually has a deep and rich narrative that is worth not being spoiled is hilarious
  • I love the instant horror that RT experienced when it is revealed that eating bugsnax are bad after he just mutated every person in the village.

Imagine getting your wife back after she left you, and then a random dude comes along and turns her into a hotdog

Some of my favorite descriptions pf this game are “the drugs aren’t working”, “You can’t eat your problems”, and “Body Horror mixed with the Lord of the Flies and Sesame Street”.
