MY CANCER TREATMENT HAS STOPPED!

I was smoking a cig when I clicked on this and had to stub it out and throw the pack away because I realise how precious life is.. I'm so sorry Dan and you're always in my thoughts

The irony of hearing children oblivious to the unknown world ahead laughing and carrying on and a man seeing his future change in a way he never would have imagined at their age. Reminds you that millions are struggling while millions of us are oblivious that it could be any of us at any second. Much love to you and wishing for a miracle, they do happen. They really do, never stop believing in that.

I'm so sorry. I'm a stage 4 terminal patient myself and I'm so sad and angry. Too many people die daily from cancer. Sending you all my love. All that matters is the love you've given and received. You'll take some with you but you've left plenty to family friends and strangers all over the world! 💛

You've made an impact. I will remember you always. I will speak your name and tell my friends and family about the random funny guy I found in youtube and who made me look at life differently. Thank you.

I quit all tobacco the day after I watched all his videos, 12/14/21. My health has improved, my relationships have improved, and I understand the value of life so much more. He's in my soul & I consider him a guardian angel for the rest of my life. Thank you.

Dude, I'm so sorry man. I haven't been on your channel for very long. I am sorry that I didn't find you sooner, but in the short time I've been a subscriber, you have put a smile on my face with each and every upload. So for me.... you have made a difference. Thank you.

I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through, Dan, and I doubt there's anything I can say to make you feel better but I think it's important for you to know that you and Emily have affected my outlook on life so profoundly with your openess, bravery, positivity and humour in the face of the cruelest and most unjust blow to your lives. I hope you realise that by sharing your journey with people, you've not only raised awareness of this insidious disease but your sheer guts and drive have jolted people into putting the adversity in their own lives into perspective. I read a quote by a cancer sufferer and it couldn't apply more to you and Emily. I'm paraphrasing but she said: "People refer to cancer as a battle but it's not, it's simply biological. If it was a battle, I would have won", and I have no doubt at all that If it was a fair playing field, if you'd had any control, you and Emily would've kicked cancer's ass into touch. Squeeze every drop of joy from every moment, my man, and know my warmest thoughts are with you and your loved ones.

I have no idea what to write. I want to comfort you and support you. What I won’t write is suggestions, I think you’ve had enough of people telling you what you should or shouldn’t do, and I hope they don’t do that in this comments section. Dear Dan. It's years later. Your videos made an impact. I recently went through chemo myself. My trials are much less severe way than what you faced and your strength astounds me even more now that I'm a full blown cancer patient myself. There is simply no way I could even imagine to pick up a recorder and document my trials. Many days it's hard even to smile. Yet, I see your image, all these years later, smiling after surgery. Speaking words of encouragement to yourself and those around despite the pain. How did you do it, young man? How can I follow your example? How can I not descend into despair and self pity? Thank you for what you have done. I will do my best.

Insane to think this was 60 days before you passed man. You looked so healthy its crazy
