The statue of Mary is exquisite, the gold is in great shape and her face is lovely. Stuart, you did a great job re-making her hands and cleaning her. What a perfect purchase for the chapel. The old lanterns are also perfect and look like they were always there. You two are really good at finding appropriate and beautiful pieces, whether it’s large pieces of furniture or the tiniest piece of china. You are bringing the chateau back to its richness and grandeur. I love how the two of you are in sync with each other and support each other’s talents and strengths. Many hugs! ❤❤❤

The Virgin Mary statue is a lovely find and fits perfectly in the chapel. Stuart, you did a wonderful job replacing her hands and I’m sure the head crown will be equally lovely. The lighting for the exterior of the chapel looks very nice. I like the porcelain auction items on the mantle very much. These are wonderful choices in keeping with the chateau authenticity. Stuart, your meticulous ablutions of the Madonna statue were quite compelling. You literally and figuratively gave a hand or two to the restoration of Maria, Queen of Heaven. I am impressed by your restoration skills and color matching abilities. The vases you and Patrick obtained are gorgeous. Good work, Patrick, on sourcing the lighting fixtures for the chapel exterior, too. Those two devotional kneelers will be perfect for the chapel.
