Superb quality. Such a masterpiece by Genesis. One of the best prog rock tunes ever.

Hard to believe just how good this is. Stunning. Miraculous. It may even outdo the studio version. Phil's drumming exemplifies virtuosity.
  • I saw Genesis play this on the Selling England by the Pound tour. This is Phil Collins saying that I'm as good as Keith Moon, John Bonham, Ginger Baker, and Jim Gordon!

I'm in tears when I listen to this song....Just beautiful.
  • One of my favourite songs from Genesis!!! I love what Phil is doing on the hi hats during the keyboard solo. Phil and Tony banks are killing it!!! What a great performance!!’ 🎶🥁🎹

This is the version of The Cinema Show that had to be repaired due to technical glitches Tony Banks experienced during the concert. For the CD release, Tony, then 57, replayed it at half speed and down an octave and engineer Nick Davis did the rest. Tony himself considers this to be the fastest version of The Cinema Show they ever played.

Once again the brilliance of Steve Hackett his intricate parts are just so brilliant modest and unassuming. There's no way he could have been replaced, he's one of a kind

The power and scope of Genesis. From the romantic to the bold in your face pure aggression.

This is stunning. As I've said before - most modern rock & popular musicians, aged in their 20's and in the public eye, can't compose everlasting pieces like this.

My all time favorite song. Brilliantly rendered here. Saw them do it at the Roxy in 73 and have never gotten over it. Hope I never do. Can't thank you enough for this. My gawd I love listening to Phil's work on this. This is, truly, peak Genesis.

Rutherford adds a lot to an already near perfect song with his deep foot pedal bass. Amazing.

That song is so awesome. The music, the mood, I love the ending aswell. "Dadadadadadadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....Dadadadadadadaaaaa...." And that drumming, oh man. It's timless
  • This is the most stunning version I've ever listened to! This gorgeous young musicians and writers are so full of energy! The music and the lyrics are so powerful and charming at the same time! The essence of the old Genesis! And this speed... 💙
  • Tony is exemplary on this track just as he is on the record - that's obvious. But Phil also just absolutely kills it in the instrumental section.
