It’s genuinely crazy how much effect wooting has had on the keyboard market.

This was banned in fighting games. There are rules that simultaneous opposite cardinal directions must produce no action within the controllers firmware settings. I'm sure same will be done for other games.

lmao that strafing in OW looked so insane
  • @spoiler1828
banning is gonna make zero difference; now that wooting and razer have done this, plenty of other companies will eventually come out w their own version

3:43 i just guessed it would be 15 to 25 but 60 to 70 is actually insane. That's half of the reaction time of an average pro. Imagine an average pro has an one third lowered reaction to action time.

me with a laptop keyboard. "huh, neat stuff"

It's just SOCD, already implemented on the FGC for years. Also there is a few settings for SOCD and this keyboard seems to use the "last input priority". I think it would be better and "fair" to give options for input priority like the one for hitbox (modern fightstick).
  • We’re really slowly getting in territory of hardware cheats or at least what is considered “pay2win”.
  • @Klar
To my knowledge this is banned in OSU but I don't know if it'll be considered cheating in esports like CS.

Ain’t no way Razer made something decent

SOCD (Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Direction) cleaning makes so much scene for gaming keyboards. This is something that's used on leaverless arcade controllers, it's super important and it allows for certain short cuts with how inputs are read by the game's input interpreter.

I believe you made this video to show off the new overwatch hero :face-blue-smiling:
  • Did you build the solenoid mechanism yourself, brother? Looks very cool! Could you link/make a tutorial?
  • @anoukk_
Imagine buying this keyboard and being oblivious of this feature. Then getting banned because you don't realize you're cheating...

null movement binds are so normal in tf2 that i had no clue why this was controversial when razer dropped it

In my opinion this should be allowed in all games. We should be improving the tech like these that actually takes human input therefore increasing skill level overall (Players have to learn to aim 3 times more now) than letting tech do things for you like Aim Assist or Keyboard scripts (macros). We cant say the people without this keyboard would be in a disadvantage since I would argue a player with 1050ti is in bigger disadvantage playing against someone with a 4090 in apex.

It's possible to do with aliases on cs2 and may people are using it.
