I used to love this show as a kid when I thought "just be a better driver" was the answer, but its obvious that a lot these contestants just need therapy and long-term support. So many "reality shows" have interesting ideas, but they just can't help but exploit people who are actually struggling and putting them on display for everyone else to laugh at

To the people dismissing Krystal’s mistakes due to her BPD, shitty driving isn’t a symptoms of BOD friends. She’s just a selfish driver that happens to have BPD.

I remember Krystal. She was so dangerous and addicted to her phone while driving . Andrew tried taking her phone away she'd throw fits, she verbally abused everyone, including her brother, and thought she was better than she was. The lack of empathy in drivers is a real problem. In Georgia, you have to make eye contact with oncoming drivers when you're on the crosswalk, because they won't stop unless they're forced to reconcile acknowledging your humanity. Not a joke. One time I was on crutches and the driver didn't stop until I stared him in the eye.

The panic attack thing hit me SO hard. I actually don't have a license yet because of my anxiety, and I don't think it should be so normal and necessary to have a license to the point that people like me and Danielle would be forced to get one. It's actually so commendable that she purposefully sought out a job she can do at home so that she has to drive as little as possible. She shouldn't have been put on a show like this to "get over her fear", because - apart from the obvious danger - the pressure is not gonna make it ANY better! I myself live in a country with pretty good public transport, and over time my anxiety has gotten better so that I might go to driving school soon.

The little smirk that Crystal had as she said “I’ll get off of the sidewalk” makes me believe she actually could be a bad person.

Krystal ended up getting diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and sought mental health treatmwnt and got official driving classes (which she had never had before). She gave a quote after this: "I'm not saying that borderline personality disorder is an excuse to drive like an a--hole but it's a large part of why I drove like that. But now I know better and I can do better." She said that the show was a harsh reality check, and pushed her to get help.
