Leafs vs Bruins Round 1 Game 7 (Season over....) (May 4th, 2024)

Bruins fan here. Not here to gloat, but to say I feel your pain and I empathize. I watched the Bruins continually lose to the Canadiens, and the Red Sox lose to the Yankees...for decades. Great, great, series. Good luck in the future and see you next season.

As a Bruins fan i got to say what a series. I have a new found respect for the Leafs, because you played us hard. I went through 37 years of not winning a cup and losing before we got one. Keep plugging away and one day it will be worth it! I hope something is done with the Leafs to turn it around. GGs Leaf fans and well see you next season. Die hard bruins boy, the leafs were scary bro. We suck in over time. We were all sweating. The lindholm goal, that was on Toronto. People forget ya know, the guy’s a big pro, he had a full second to line up a laser, looked goofy but damn, sizzled through like three guys top shelf left, oof. Nylander is a bastard, never wanna see that scary mf again lol, guy snipes on the hottest swayzee we’ve ever seen. What it came down to was a HUNGRY pasta who had been getting snuffed. It was a good game, coulda gone either way. Who’s Mitch Marner tho?

As a fan of a team who took fifty years to win a title I will say these painful losses will only add to the joy of victory when you finally get there.

As you can tell from my username, I'm a Bruins fan. For much of my life when I was younger, Boston sports fans were tortured by the NY Yankees and the Montreal Canadiens. The Red Sox could never defeat the Yankees and the Bruins could never defeat the Canadiens in the playoffs. It was agonizing to experience year after year. So even though I'm happy the Bruins won tonight, I sympathize with Toronto Maple Leafs fans. I know the feeling.

From a Bruins fan, I was really rooting for the Leafs last year. Great series guys. If its any comfort you caused migraines, chest pains to EVERY Bruin fan!!

I’m a passionate Kings fan since 1980, so let me as a leaf outsider share some thoughts. It’s tough that the Leafs are in tough division. You have the Bolts, Panthers and Bruins and with playoff format the way it is, you get one of these 3 in the 1st round. That’s tough. I also feel the Leah’s are very top heavy. I always thought the signing of JT was unnecessary for you all and it hamstrung you on getting your blue line in order. 7 game losses are brutal and heartbreaking for us fans. Best of luck for next year.

Couple things . First, Toronto really did play a hell of a series. 2nd, the goal lindholm scored went off the arm, not under it. 3rd, that's a practiced play at the end. Those bounces are always a bit lucky but the bruins practiced that exact play in the morning skate.

From Bruins nation in New England, we love you all. You will always be our friends. We will now avenge Florida for us both. We beat them all 4 games this season and we have a good chance at taking Florida and showing them where the bear shits in the woods. Heads up you guys.
