always love hearing your thoughts on these guys. i think this is my favourite of the singles so far because i find the lyrics super relatable. i feel like the song and the video do a great job representing the fear of falling back into bad habits when you've finally worked through them and maybe being worried that the people around you might give up on you if you make another mistake. like if tyler just told josh what happened josh could help him but instead he just goes back to try again himself as though he doesn't want to let josh see him fail.

Aight, first off, been loving your TØP reactions. As a fan myself, it's always nice to see someone who's less invested in the overarching plot take an objective view of the music. I agree Scaled and Icy got unnecessary hate. Things can't be doom and gloom all the time, or you just get what this song is about: fear/risk of backsliding into some of your darkest, most self-destructive places. SAI still had the darker story elements, but the lighter musical tone was a good break. (And yeah. I agree Levitate off the Trench album is easily some of their best work.) The suggestion for Next Semester's music video is a good one, but I think something I might suggest is to try to focus on Josh's drum work in that - it's absolutely fuckin' nutty. The man is a machine. That said? I think I agree with your ranking of the songs. Loved Next Semester when it came out, but I think it might still be the weakest of the three. Anyway, keep being you, my dude. You're a joy to watch.
