In a joint statement the leaders of the United States, Egypt and Qatar are calling on Israel and Hamas to enter ceasefire talks next week in Doha or Cairo, and to get the job done. They say this could be their final offer to mediate an end to the war and bring Israeli hostages home.

Today, the Israeli Prime Minister said he will send negotiators to ceasefire talks next week. But, no word from Hamas. Its main negotiator and leader was killed last week, but the US says that should not stand in the way of ending the fighting in Gaza.

  • How they will conduce this negotiations if they killed the negotiator and at the same time are asking those guys to get out of their tunels to negotiate? How can they trust that the new guy won't be the next target?
  • @canitbethat
It sounds like their positions are fundamentally irreconcilable, and this idea that they just need to work out a few details is a farce.
  • Lol, Sinwar supposed to let israel know wer he is? Clearly no further negotiations will happen from now on
  • @kaioser
The hamas run health ministry lol😂
  • @lyle4244
As long as Netanyahu is in power there will never be a cease fire as he has stated publicly.
  • Thr's nothing like a ceasefire wen Natanyahu is still the president, trust me...Us is trying to cool the tempers of Iran and Hezibollah retaliation
  • Gee fellas; does it not sound like these countries are worried aboutHamas being obliterated?
  • What is the point in talking about cease fire when all the talks about cease fire so far was frustrated by Israel and above all, when Israel has categorically ruled out any talk about cease fire at all? Again it is a ploy to divert attention from retaliating against the killing of Hamas leader! (This time your channel deliberately removed my reply to 2019!)
  • stay strong and safe people in Palestine, Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Mali, West Sahara, Kosovo, North Cyprus, Georgia.
  • @elabidel
Matthew Miller will not speculate on the rape committed by IDF and its consequences but here he is assuming and speculating who will be calling shots in Hamas.
  • No for the Palestinians its not. Some Palestinians believe the longer they hold out the sweeter the deal will be.
  • @MiladaKaiser
Hamas misfired too many rockets and killed too many Gazans.
  • @S.P.01
Sinwar should surrender himself to Israel, so they Netanyahu can take him to Doha with himself for negotiations.
  • Hostages and the Poor People of Gaza. You always skip the saving poor people of Gaza in all the ceasefire conversations that show the world is really unjust and does not value human life equally
  • @A_man0660
They don’t want to get fooled again 😆
  • I despise Hamas but I'm starting to think that Netenyahu just wants to remain in power
