I just saw this on LI and it is outstanding (I shared it, of course!0. I'm really impressed. I went from just enjoying to almost immediately seeing connections to my own life at 49 years old. The Warren Buffet story is wonderful. Thanks for making this, Conor.

At 50, having lost quite a few friends to accident/illness, you become acutely aware of your own mortality at this age. You do realise at this age, there is nothing in life that was ever worth a second of you worrying about it. Memento Mori. Great presentation.
  • I'm 28 and after listening to your views on how should ONE take decisions in his life, I'm gonna call to my beloved father who is 64 to get his perspective and to learn from his life experiences.

This is hands down the best video I have seen for years. There are many youngsters that talks about their choice of a 9-5 job vs freelance/travel etc., but i believe people their 35-55 has a much harder decision to make. We usually have way more backages and any change is almost impossible compared to when you were 20s. Yet, you realized you have made a mistake in your life's path and desperately looking for a way out. We need more guidance like this one.

that bell curve with line of sight & backpack concept ... is probably the BEST go-to visual aid I have ever seen! .. and which I will always use from now on! ... it gives SOOO much PERSPECTIVE on Every Piece of Wisdom that Any Person will come across ... cos its Value & Implementation will be relative to where we are on that bell curve.. thank you Conor ! 💓 😊

45, Definitely going through mid life crisis. Blessed with so much around me, never fell more lonely and lost. Thank you for the video.

Excellent video. And it mirror's my own journey. I traveled with confidence (and arrogance) during the first-half. Then a life decimation happened. My actions had caused a karmic boomerang, smashing my ego into pieces on the ground. That was a critically important moment in that it led to positive changes thereafter. Humiliation is often the path to the acquisition of humility. Like Jung said, "There is no coming into consciousness without pain." Today? Life is grand!
  • One of your best videos, if not the best one. Well done Conor, thanks for making this and sharing your wisdom

I haven't even finished watching this video and the message is ABSOLUTELY brilliant. I had a meltdown at age 36 and I am 39 now and I have been searching for anything to help me understand what happened to me. Thank you so much for this video.
  • Amazing perspective. I recently turned 50 and I did feel that there was shift in my perspective. This post has put things into clearer focus.
