Marner for Aho straight up wouldn’t be fair. Aho is completely better than Marner. He is also signed for 8 years so Toronto would need to give 2 first Rd picks to Carolina for this to be even considered

I'm a Marner fan. And if I'm honest. Did he ever have fun this year. Like at all. Which is why my number 1 team I'm talking to is Nashville about Saros. See if Colton Sissons can be involved in some capacity. Saros is also on an expiring contract. Thats why it makes sense.

Wouldn’t mind Marner in Anaheim. We have the cap space, he’s right shot-right winger. He’d be in a more low key hockey market.

Every GM in the NHL as the fans know how bad these contracts are compared to playoff performance. Many will stay clear

Leafs should be trying to recapture some first round picks. Top ten for marner. We don't need another over the hill gang in exchange. Leafs can then use the cap space to sign some free agents.

Marner has a no trade clause and if he signs again long term he will have a full no trade clause in place

All these trade proposals are like farting in the wind. They are maningless because Marner isn't waving his no movement clause period full stop. Tavares isn't either so they are just going to have to wait for them to walk after next year. Rielly on the other hand now that contract is a real problem because it has 6 years left. Good luck finding him a partner that he doesn't drag down.

Notwithstanding Chychrun... There is no way Ottawa is trading (a Center) like Pinto for a Marner (a winger), especially with Norris being injury prone (on top of adding a first or second round pick). Plus Marner's stock isn't that high given his recent playoff performance.

Sorry, but these trades are so wild man. It’s like you think Leafs are going to get equal value for Marner. Not even that, but Leafs hose St. Louis in that deal. These are awwwwwwful hahahahaha

If you dont think tavares waives what makes people think marner will whos been there his whole career and is also from ontario, hes staying and if he does leave itll be in free agency for nothing 😂
